tr = row
td = column

You start with tr (row) and put as many td's as you want columns in that row. When you want to move onto the second row, just start with tr again.

It's okay... I liked the invisible borders between table fields before. Now there's a box around everything in my newbie guide. It looks less visually appealing, imo.

to be specfic

td = table data
tr = table row

Bascially you start with "table" and end with "/table"

Everytime you need a row, you do "tr" and then end the row with "/tr"
You need it to start the first row

If for a row you need more then 1 entry, you just use "td" and end with "/td" each time

Those other things you talked about are possible of course. This new code doesn't makes tables look a bit different (we had those before, only "invisible"), it doesn't change anything else.

I can't say I like these tables at all. Sure, maybe when it's necessary to show table borders and a different background color, but most of the tables used on this forum do not need it and benefit from not having it. I would like it, however, if you included code we could use to manipulate the table, such as removing the border, setting the border size, and changing the background color of each individual cell.
