System overload

There was some kind of system overload and my service provider pulled the plug for a couple of minutes. Forums seem to be working now.

I'm still waiting for more information on what happened and I'll keep you posted if it's anything interesting.

Apparently we were using too much CPU. Waaaaaaaaaay too much.

I hope this is not chat related, because if it is I have to do something about it. Like put some kind of restrictions or worst case scenario, remove the whole thing.

I was in the chat when the system went offline, there were only a few people in there at the time. I'm not sure hot it could have caused a problem now and not on our Tourny days.

If we had to and you had to delete the chat room (NOOOO....), we could make a xat chat, since those let you control who are mods and who aren't and has the capacity for guests too. Only problem would be people in no way related to the game stumbling into the chat room, but then, that wouldn't be a bad thing, would it?

So the chat is back to normal? No need for xat? Good. It would've been a hassle to give the right people the right permissions and make it elements themed.

Yes, there's no need to jump ship as soon as a single problem occurs (which is why I removed that link). And if there ever comes a time to use some other chat, there are 10 better options than xat.
