Join the Trials!

The 5th Trials have begun!

For a chance to challenge the current Master of an element and take the title from him/her, review the Trials rules (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,35876.0.html). This time around you must prove your worthiness in Phase 1 (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,35921.0.html) prior to choosing the Master you'd like to challenge.  May the best players win!

Also, one of the tasks given to Trials participants is a review of posts in Deck Ideas (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php#c2).  You should expect your posts in that forum to receive a lot of attention from pros this week!

There are 27 challengers at the moment, which is 2-3 per element.  Two Masters have opted to not participate in Trials.  And Phase 1 is reportedly taking a lot less time to complete than the previous Trial.

In summary: it may be relatively easy to obtain the Master title this time around.    More importantly, a huge portion of vets (myself included) will tell you the most fun they've ever had in elements was during Trials.  If you're reluctant to play because you're not sure you'll have time for War, I'll remind you this is a standalone event.  You can always appoint a General to War; this is your chance to prove you know your [insert element here].

Four days of registration left.  As it stands one element would see a completely uncontested new Master and another has one challenger with only 5 points at the moment.

Remember that you can register even if you did not participate in Phase 1.  You will be at a points disadvantage, but as I said in the post above Trials tends to bring out some of the most fun PvP situations.
