Me and Essence are in it already with 28 and 23 points, and the 3rd person will probably be xdude. In the unlikely event that he loses. Icy has the next-highest points with 19. I certainly don't expect both of them to lose.

why not doing a tounament between all master who retain their title and want to get grand master? i think, many dont want to get that title (caused by their emotional attachment to their element), and a master, exspecially when he keeps his reign, should have enough time to make such a mini-tournament possible in short time.

air and darkness, for example, have major problems to win their first round at the battle of the opposing elements (against earth and light), so their masters have it harder to retain their title, why should they also be put on a disadvantage here?

I do agree with Antagon that people shouldn't be forced into competing for this.

I might do some changes to this Grand Master thing..

Right now I'm thinking about a system where a player can be both a Master AND a Grand Master so that both title are visible above your avatar. This way you don't lose your Master title.

The title of Grand Master would be given to the winner of the War event. Of course the problem with that would be that wouldn't have a "Team Rainbow".
