Improve your forum password and account security

My password is the same as it is for everything.

Not hard to guess, but never has been a problem.

The other day some one asked me if I wanted a hacked account with every upgraded card. Having been a mod at MTG, I know a scam when I see one. I said no of course. But to less knowledgeable players this scam could ruin their account.

The scam> they give u an account like they said (Which they will take back and change the password AFTER they get yours, OR they will ask for your password right out and the whole purpose is to GET YOUR PASSWORD. They hope you will give them THE SAME password you use on YOUR account, In essence stealing your account from under you!

NEVER EVER Take FREE accounts. it will eventually be a scam of one kind or another.

NEVER EVER give your password too ANYONE! And if you should decide on multiple accounts, ALWAYS use different passwords!

Nothing for free should be taken lightly, And usually, Something that sounds too good too be true , IS!
