What if a hacker hacks into your account and binds the account to his/her IP instead of yours? Then aren't you screwed?

What if a hacker hacks into your account and changes the password to something instead of yours? Then aren't you screwed?

Now now, there's no reason to be snide. The IP Binding to an IP you can't access would technically leave you slightly more screwed than the password. At least with the password you can brute-force it.

Last time I checked, there is a "forgot your password?" option if your password gets hacked. However, I don't see an "unbind your IP" option. I would prefer to receive an actual meaningful answer than some snarky comment that accomplish nothing whatsoever, thank you very much.

That happened to meh too the 192 guy anyway...

You can do a Google search for IP addresses.  76.10.214.89 is in Columbus, OH.

192. address are usually your local router.  Did you perhaps log in from another computer on your home network?

Back on topic, I got signed out while online earlier today again.  Got another failed log-in attempt e-mail as a consequence; first time in about a week.

So someone thinks:

Hey deluxeloy is awesome, if I hack his account people will think I am deluxeloy, and therefore think I am awesome, So Lets hack him!

And hacks me, right? Or something like that.
That is somewhat weird, just hacking So you can pretend to be awesome.
