I removed links to avoid confusion. We have one chat and that is the one under Resources. It's not perfect but until a better one shows up lets use that, ok?

This starts to remind me of the time when the old forums went down for a week and everyone and their mother started to build their own awesome forums. It was a chaos. Lets not go there again.

So if you have good suggestions, let me know. But please don't post them like "everyone come to this new chat I started 5 minutes ago!!!!". That just confuses users.

Lets all just relax. I'm sure we'll find a solution that everyone likes. Well, almost everyone.

understood SG. that wasn't a room i just created though it was the old meebo official elements room.....and the one you have up doesn't work at all....not sure why, but once you load it up....it asks for a nick....you enter one click join and nothing happens. I'm kinda lost without my chat buddies. Sorry to confuse anyone, but I understand why you removed it.

Hm.. that is a problem.

Have you tried with different browsers? Do you have the newest version of flash player installed? Have you cleared browser cache?

Anyone else have this same problem?

I think the chat itself is decent and smooth. Only problem is the lack of customization. My suggest would be to

- Your elementsforum name is your nickname, to prevent people from using false names
- Informative system, shows elementsforum post, rank (wikieditor? moderator?) karama and such when you click/scroll over the name in the overview on the rigth side of the chat. And also give a moderator a star for example, a wikieditor something else and master of elements ppl the element as a badge.

Those are all good suggestions but the problem is that it's a "take it or leave it deal" with this temporary chat. I have no control over the chat features. I can only change the graphics, appoint mods, things like that.

I sent an email to the developers of this chat asking for a possibility of getting more control. No reply yet and I wouldn't be surprised if there was no reply at all.
