Competition Organizer
Do you love the creativity that the Elements Community offers? Do you wish to be the spark that ignites the community's creativity? Wish to get involved with the Elements Community Staff? Look no further!
The Elements Council is looking to hire
ONE Competition Organizer. They will be working alongside
Aves to maintain and run the Competitions section.
The Competition Organizer will need to:- Come up with new competitions or resurrect fan favorites.
- Explain the rules when needed, and ensure that entries follow these rules.
- Compile a competition's entries, and create a new voting thread accordingly.
- Have one competition running at all times, and ensure that there's a healthy mix of competition styles (card design, art, writing, deckbuilding, etc.) throughout the rotation.
- Take suggestions and feedback into account, and implement/address them accordingly.
- Keep the Hall of Fame updated.
- Design or locate art for award icons.
To apply for Competition Organizer, you are required to have:- At least 100 posts.
- High activity on the forum.
- Creativity in coming up with different competitions.
- Knowledge of bbcode, formatting, etc.
- The ability to resolve conflicts between participants while maintaining a cool and level head in order to make decisions objectively.
- Proficiency at computer art, while not required, will be a benefit in the process of designing award icons.
