Polls will be up as soon as I get off my lazy rear the polls are ready!

Will every nomination go to voting (probably not?) or only stuff with enough amount of nominations? (2,3, more?)

These are just nominations and every nomination will go into voting.

Notable exceptions to nominations that aren't valid. (No, the name of forum users is not a competition.) Also, some of them may prove to be too big a poll. We'll try to cut it down to just around  5-10 max.

You're missing the fact that "the polls are ready" means "the polls are done but the other 99% of the work isn't done so nothing's posted yet", at least according to a paraphrase of what DM said when I asked him that same thing yesterday.

Protip: Instead of reading "the polls are ready" read the phrase without the words with a line on top of them.

(The original idea is that "it will be up as soon as the polls are ready". Since they aren't ready, they aren't posted.)
