Well... here I was, thinking you were being all cynical, and you come out saying it was a test. Well played, sir.
To be honest, I mainly applied because vrtato said I'd be good at it :P
To be fair here, the statement was somewhat based on fact. I have found that people tend to listen much more when you have a forum icon/a T50 status/1000+ posts. My posts on the GS&F section have much more impact than posts on any other section, just because of those intimidating life marks hovering over my name. My posts have also recieved considerable more attention as I got an individual avatar, more posts ect.
I probably wouldn't have said something
completely untrue and irrelevant, like "People applying for this job only started supporting Entropy when they started winning".
But mostly, I wanted to get peoples reactions. The only reason I stopped so soon was because of this post.

While I have been known to say stupid things (lets face it, with a forum name
this bad) - I didn't want to be though of as trolling. (And I feel that the view I expressed before was more likely to be held by someone with 600 posts than a troll with less than 20, although - hopefully - much more politely worded)
