2nd Elements Council - Vote for your favorite candidates!

Oh, yes, well I suppose I should write something about myself, right? 

Well!  There are lots of really great people up for vote, here!  I'm sure you're wondering why on earth you should cast a vote for me! 

First of all, my reasons for signing up in the first place are quite clear and simple...  I have been with this community for quite some time -- and I would so very much appreciate this chance to give back a little bit.

Now, I may not be the most outspoken person on the forum -- far from it, I tend to be a bit of a lurker and a listener.  But that is exactly what I believe makes me an excellent candidate for the council.  Those who know me may vouch for the fact that I have no personal agenda -- what I desire most of all is to help support this wonderful community, which I have grown to love immensely.  c:

I voted on the ones that I thought would do a Good job. I would of apply myself, but I wouldn't make it.

I'm guessing most, if not all the old members will be re-elected. It's a shame because it makes it very dificult for new members to get in. I only voted for 4 of the previous members.

Well, I am definitely not voting for someone who already has a built-in excuse for why they didn't win: "Most people already know who they want to vote for beforehand anyway."

I like to read the applications, because these forums are very big and I'm not going to go through everybody's post history to find out more about them.  Anyone who puts in their "speech" that it is hard for them to talk about themselves, or that you can ask around to find out more about them, makes it very hard to vote for that person.  This is every candidate's chance to post their opinions and express their passion.  Yes, there are some people I am voting for already because of the immense work they have done, but there are still plenty of spots leftover and post count is not the deciding factor.  There are only 8 of 12 former council members returning, and there are a total of 18 spots, which means 10 spots will be brand new people.  As a lame duck council member, I only voted for 5 returning council members, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who voted that way.

Ya, it's epically hard for someone who's not one of the main 'NAMED' people to make the council.

If you don't know me, then ask around... see what you find out... maybe you'll change your vote.

I voted for the members I want in the council because or their ability to help regardless of being lurkers, big voices, popularity hounds, unpopular theorists or their presence in the council beforehand.

Don't use being in the council before as reason not to vote someone, it is not a negative attribute, in fact it is a positive attribute because they know how the process works.
