2nd Elements Council - Vote for your favorite candidates!

"Why would you vote for me?"

I was kind of wondering that myself, but I'll try listing some reasons:

- Activity
I think this should be standard for all candidates and nothing remarkable, but I will be sure to come online each day and read each and every reply that concerns me.

- Adult behavior
I don't like whining for attention like a spoiled little brat and am capable of accepting, and handing out constructive criticism. You can say: "ur newb, I hate u, u ***" blah blah blah, but you're not helping anyone. I'm the kind of person that would rather say exactly what is wrong. If you don't recognise me in this, you haven't seen me serious enough.

- Creative ideas
I tend to come up with the weirdest of ideas, and a lot of times something useful comes from it, usually not directly from me, but by making people think of things they wouldn't have thought of otherwise.

If you won't vote for me than I get it, there're plenty of other awesome people out there, and I'd rather see people in the council that are accepted by the community, and are considered somewhat representative

Well I had alot of fun on the last council, and it was a great experience. Im not really good at speeches, so ill just leave it to that, i liked it, and i think we did a good job.


OK nvm ill give a mini speech.

The reasons i should be on council again
1. I have experience with it, and as a staff member i have incite into what each needs.
2. Im pretty active, especially on weekends
3. I never missed a vote. In other words, im active on the council page. I might not start the topics (mostly because it was jmdt job) but ill be sure to participate.

If i don't win, i wish the best of luck to those who do.

Hello elements people,

As you can probably tell, a new council is coming up, and i am applying to be in it.

But first, a little about me:
I am a person that is very generous and considerate. Someone that, whatever the circumstances, will never let you down. Someone that never goes for his own happiness, but for the one of the collectivity. I am also a person that isn't scared to tell his opinion. Whatever the circumstances, and even if everyone is against me, I will try and put my word in, just so that people see my point.

Ok now, some flaws :
I am someone that is not speaking english as a first language, so sometimes i have some difficulties to read a paragraph, but i always find a way to get around it. Also, that might be something to not tell but, hey, let's be honest. I am a person that can get carried away easily in certain circumstances. 

Why would you vote for me?
Because I am an active member that cares for the community. When the community really need something, I will be there for them.

Hello, I am $$$man, also @$$-man, Rapper, money-bags-man, and more. But all these different names have one same origin and that is moi. I am very active, competing with Kuro and Baily for the top 10. I post a lot, and In my eyes, they have good quality. I am also the moderator of the Forum Games and Beta decks section. I can take on large tasks and am very ambitious (Applied for almost every job opportunity) I am no grammar Nazi but I do my best to make my posts clean and readable (Now chat is a different thing ) I have created many things for the community and am part of the WoE staff.
Please vote for me, Also I apologize for not having a Huge sized wall of text, as those In my opinion, deter some from reading posts.

First off, there are a lot of great posts in this thread and plenty of qualified applicants. Whether or not I make the council I am confident it will do a fine job.

Here are some bullets about why I am a good choice:

• I am a native speaker of English
• I am active everyday - you can check my stats, I am on various times of day
• I prefer to post longer, thoughtful posts rather than low quality short responses
• I may not be an organizer but I am trying to participate in a wide breadth of forum activities including: War, WoE, Elements Radio and vrt's Art Class
• I have a lot of ideas I would like to discuss with the council
• I would love to work on your behalf to improve the user experience for Elements The Game

Anyhow, you have a lot of good choices but I would be honored if you voted for me.

i'm nilsieboy and i'd love to be in the second elements council.
i'm a very active member (call me addicted ) and i check the forums multiple times every day, i'm also a pretty long time with the community and i think i became a pretty known member. i'd like to help this awesome community more trough the council because i love helping people and making/working out new ideas.

Hey one and all well i'm thenewguy ,

Well i'm on a lot, well actually if not all the time. I browse usually every topic i find in the unread section. Now i might not always hand out my opinion, but if others haven't seen i'll bring it to their attention. Sometimes i am off on the wrong track when it comes to a debate or a certain topic, but i make it a job to fully understand the situation before putting in my 2 cents yet again. When i feel strongly about a subject tho i will make sure you hear me out, i will hear out the rest of the community. Your ideas for more organizers? I'll bring it to the councils attention. We need a more organized forum you say? Well a new topic for the council.

I know i'm not as well known as the first council members of even other people on the forums that have a major reputation, but i will bring a name for myself doing the best job i can with the council. I ask you not to vote for someone with an amazing speech, the person with the most karma, or even a former council member just because you saw then were on the council once so they will do the best job for them again. No my friends, i only ask that you vote for the people that you believe will let YOUR words be heard, someone that will not ignore the pleas of new ideas. I ask that you vote for the man that will do the best job. Thank you for your time my friends and even my enemies.

I removed wolfunit from the poll because of less than 200 posts, which was the requirement.

Once again, here are the requirements:
- 200+ posts
- Has been a member for at least 3 months (when poll started)

Anyone who does not meet these requirements, will not be given a spot in the Council, even if they get elected.

I didn't check these requirements when adding names to the poll, because I assumed that anyone who is applying to become of Council Member, would have the reading comprehension to understand these requirements. I mean how difficult is it to check your post count and join date before applying?

Been active since... April I think, and I've never really had any long spurts of inactivity. I'm active through the forums, a lot in forum games... if posts there counted, I'm pretty sure I'd have over 1000 .

A vote for me is a vote for someone who would actively contribute good ideas in discussion blah blah blah speech, and who has no sense of humor and is unwilling to compromise on anything except for what I'm willing to compromise on.

I'll lower income taxes, create welfare plans for the... oh wait nvm.

I'll increase productivity, add to discussions, and make sure that the best choice is always made in council decisions. Well, to the extent that I can with my vote and voice.

Wow.  There's a lot of phenomenal candidates here.

Being brief is not one of my strengths but I'll try to limit the list of reasons you should consider me to three points:

• I've been around since the old forums (over a year).
• I'm on the forum and in chat virtually every day.
• I'm active in a fairly wide variety of forum sections, for example:
  
  • In PvP Events as a Master
  • In the Decks section as a Deck Helper
  • In Card Ideas as the creator of one of the first cards to make it to the Armory

I considered applying to the first Council but didn't because I wasn't sure how much time would be required as Council Member, a Master, and a Staff Member.  I didn't want to be unable to fulfill my duties.
