16th Elements Council

Another six months have passed, and it's time to renew the Elements Council. July, the last month of the current Council term, will be used to receive applications and to vote for the members of the next council.

A reminder about what the Council has to do, at minimum:

1. Appoint new staff members.
2. Come up with ways to improve our community.
3. Attempt to put these projects into action, preferably as a group.
4. Support Administrators.

High activity is essential. However, even just basic communication on a frequent basis, both within the Council and with the public, will make the Council's job much easier.


1. Requirements
All community members who meet the following requirements are free to submit an application to become a Council member:

1. Joined the forum no less than 3 months ago.
2. Full Member (200+ posts).

Additionally, reliability and maturity are essential.


2. How to Apply
To become a candidate, please:

• Send a PM to me titled "Council Application" with the content of your application.
• Ensure that you have put some effort into your application. Members of the current Council are willing to lend a hand if you need it.

In your application, you may wish to include the following:

• Any evidence of commitment to, and activity in, the community.
• Your motivation to be in the Council.
• Any relevant experience you have.
• Any ideas that you wish to implement.

Bear in mind that while you want to write enough to cover everything, there may be a high volume of applications, so you may wish to keep it short and sweet so voters don't skim what you've written.

3. Forming the Council
Just like we did six months ago for the current Council, the 16th Council will be elected using an instant-runoff voting system. All community members will be able to vote. We're looking for 6 people who will form the next Council. Administrators will be part of the next Council by default.

The 16th Council will hold office for 6 months. The term will begin in August and will last until the end of January.

I believe they just have too few applicants(less than 6). There are some people that I find unlikely to not have applied, to be honest.

While we're at it, I'll leave this here: I'm willing to fill up a spot in Council if needed.

For lack of applicants, there wont be a vote this time, all 5 applicants are in. I hope someone actually responsible for this will make the corresponding post, Im just informing you.

i know isn't something valid but trying doesn't cost anything
