Hello, Elements players and community members!

I'd like to be a part of the 13th Elements Council because I can offer many things to work towards bettering the forum. I have been on the forums since the middle of 2012 and over this time, I've been able to see how the forum grows, experience that growth, and now I'd like to help in making this community even better than it already is. While I may at times seem a little less than mature, I think given the correct situation I can buckle down and talk about or do the task in an efficient manner. I am able to devote a lot of time to the community now and I have been in a position of leadership on this forum before (Warmaster). I try my hardest to treat all of the members of the forum with respect and I am willing to hear our community members' opinions in the interest of improving the forum. Please consider me for a Council member.

Hello.
First off, I'd like to start off with some simple reasons in why I believe I'd make a good council member. As most already know, I made it into 11th and 12th council, and I feel I did a very good job for the time I spent as a member of council, though Since there is always room for improvement, I'd like to be a part of 13th council as well. First off, I am a responsible, mature member that is capable of quite a bit. As a Newsletter Writer, I've done the best I can possibly do, and hopefully I can reach for even higher goals. I am a hard worker, and very careful in what I do. As a League Organizer, I believe having a creative mindset and consistent attitude is very good for the job, and for the team, in which I am able of both of those things. Out of the six months 12th council operated, I've grown to understand other members and their opinions quite a bit, and being a part of that helped me grow even more. Since I have the experience of what it's like working as a council member, I intend to make work for future staffers fun, easy, and as productive as I can. I also intend to do whatever I can to make myself a better individual, not just for council, but as a community member and a contributor in general. I wish to do everything in my power to make the forums and fun and friendly place for everyone, and to do the very best for the community. Hi guys, it's me. I want to see this community keep ongoing, and I think I can help it doing so.

I have already done an number of things for this community, such as donated, been council member before, am Brawl Master, given lots of suggestion to poor anti and UTA on how I think chat should be...

I've also been developed for OEtG, admin for OEtG forums, and am developer in my new game Fragments (or Cerulean Fragments), so I know how to work (or something like that, I'm sure it means *something to you?)

But most importantly, I believe this brings me one step closer to my life-long dream: #FippeForAdmin.

Introductions haven't been needed for a while now. I've been in this community for longer than most. More active than most. I've seen the community at it's peak, how it evolved, how it changed, how it aged.

I would like to apply to council because I know. Because I know what went right, what went wrong.
I would like to apply to council because I care. I care for things to go forward and not backwards. I care for this community to grow, and stay alive.

I'm also a person that is not afraid to tell his opinion. If I feel something is wrong, I will work towards modifying it. But then again, I know when I am wrong and to back off as well.

Why hire me for council? Because you're hiring.

Here I am again, applying for council.
Name is Joey. 23 years old. Have been PvPO. IRL, I was Vice-President to sociocultural affairs of my student association, when I was still a student.

I am active. Friendly. But I'll make things change. Not for the sake of changing, because everybody hates change. But change because change can be needed. Not everywhere, but where it is needed.

I can understand if you don't want to vote for me, but then I don't want to hear any of you complain about things not being right. Because I've been trying for a long time, but if you don't help me, I can't do it alone. If I don't get your vote, I cannot work with you. What was the saying? Of the people, by the people, for the people?
I encourage you to vote for me. Not so that I can get a voice on the council, but so that we can get a voice on the council.

Hey mathman, and everyone that will be reading this!
I am kaempfer13 and have been part of the community for quite some time now, though it is only recently that my activity shot way up and I started actively participating in Community-competitions like War, Tournaments and just now Brawl, in which I got into close contact with a number of communitymembers. I struggle a bit with these kinds of applications, as I dont think I am popular enough yet and well, in both War and Brawl I was the very last member to make the cut. Suppose that means I should give it a try! Also, I cannot miss the council with the number 13 in it now, can I?
Once I am picked, I will do my best to fulfill my role and show a lot more enthusiasm than my apps tend to tell. The teams I have been with so far can probably confirm that. As I understood it, the Council's duty is to discuss what could improve the Community, appoint staff members to achieve that end and get involved with the rest of the community. I will do my best to do that and if I am mistaken will try to do what I am actually supposed to .
I think recently it has become a bit difficult to find someone to host competitions with custom rules (as this shows), though a large part of it is of course due to the size of the community overall. My idea would be to create a panel for people that offer to host competitions, so that someone who posts an idea for a competition is no longer expected to run that event him-/herself. Maybe this would help realize and get more ideas!

Hello Current Council and Community Members,

I would like to apply for one of the 13th Elements Council positions, and state a few of things I have done and can continue to do to help the community.

- I have been in the past a TO, a WM, and a 12th Council member which all require attention to deadlines, creativity, and being well organized.This means that creativity, organization and the ability to stick to deadlines are all things I am familiar with and would be assets if I were to be a part of the next council.

-  Participation in both War and in Brawl requires a participant to be a team player and cooperate with others on their team. A Brawl Boss must show leadership as well as be able to handle pressure during round deadlines. I have participated in both of these team events as well as having lead a Brawl team as a Boss. Leadership, cooperation, and attention to listen to others are all things I have shown in these events and would be able to use for the better of council if I were voted into council this term.

-  I have looked through and participated in many different sections of the forum including; participation in multiple forum games, playing multiple PvP Events, submitting entries in the Competitions section, and can bring with me a well rounded member who can aide in multiple areas should the council be needed in them.

- If you question my reliability, maturity, or commitment to this forum in regards to a spot on the council, hopefully any of my previous teammates from War, Brawl, TOs, WMs, or Council members that I may have worked with can help reassure you of my abilities.

Hello, Elements Community!

As I'm sure that fancy spoiler told you, and incase that didn't there's a garish header; I am Solaris, a longstanding staff member of the community, and interested candidate for my 3rd term of being on the Elements Council. I'll try to keep this short, since I'm sure there'll be plenty of other candidates, and long applications are annoying.

1. Requirements
All community members who meet the following requirements are free to submit an application to become a Council member:

1. Joined the forum no less than 3 months ago.

2. Full Member (200+ posts). - Resident spamlord with, at the time of writing, 1723 forums posts.
3. Reliability and maturity are essential. Yes. More seriously, I believe myself to be extremely reliable and mature, the former of which due to my extensive amounts of activity on the forums (signing in for a few hours daily), only broken recently for a matter of which I believe to be resolved. As for the latter, I believe that to be a judgment call on the behalf of the reader, but as for my own beliefs, I believe I have demonstrated this fairly well on my time in the forums.


2. Why I wish to apply

As a current member of the Council, and present Competition Organizer + Chat Moderator, as well as former Tournament Organizer, I believe it to be clear that I have good intentions towards the development and the betterment of the community, and think that my past history on the forums, as well as my current qualifications, lend themselves well to being on the 13th Elements Council. I enjoy having a say in the staff hirings + new forum features, and think on the behalf of the community, not on behalf of myself. To put it in short terms, I enjoy my position as Council Member, represent what I believe to be in the best interests of the community, and like my pretty gavel above my name.

2. Why should you vote for me?

You should vote for me because I'm the Sun and you need the Sun to live. You should vote for me to be one of the 8 elects to the 13th Elements Council because I believe that I offer a different "voice" to the discussions, not for the sake of arguments, but for the sake of providing a variety of viewpoints to ensure that the decision that benefits the community the most is made. I work well with other members of the community, as a participant of War 9 and 10, Brawl 5, past Tournament Organizer (very team oriented), and present Competition Organizer. Moreover, I would like to offer more transparency to the Elements Council, as I don't believe it to be right that the group making decisions for the community actually has little to no contact with the community for aforementioned decisions. I have stated this in the past two applications I have made, yet it hasn't reached the fruition I desire it to.

It never ceases to amaze me how fast time flies when looking back, another council term is coming. And it's the 13th, no less!
Anyway, I've been dropping by just enough to keep tournaments going and stuff. The Trinity PvP event now, too. And that's what I intend for council if chosen as well: nothing spectacular and new, just keeping things going. No hard feelings if I don't get elected with such a boring application, just making sure there's viable candidates to choose from. Unlike scheming politicians and such, I prefer an honest story, no matter how boring that story may be!
