1. How come the logo doesn't have the 13th element on.

The 13th element hasn't been designed yet.

2. How come "zanz" can't remember the guys name if he's selling the company to him

Zanz sold Elements to Peter Adkison. That Brian guy is just a low level employee leading the Magic the Elements team.

3. How would it be commercially successful to create a clone of a game which they already have.

Maybe they want to do something else with MtE? Or maybe they thought this was a good way to get rid of competition?

You had to have a good reply didn't you for each of my rhetorical questions essentially ripping my argument to shreds. Obviously have to think of something better (a lot better) to outsmart you.

I think anyone that is fooling themself that this is a prank really can't handle the fact that this is really. Yes its apirl fools but I'd think this is a joke and you guys need to get over the fact of what day it is and put yourself in zan shoes.

Yeah, it's probably one of those guys. But it could even be a 3rd Brian we haven't even heard about, who knows.

LOL SG ya that would be nice wouldn't we all want to be there I mean ya I don't think I'll be part of MTE but just upsetting me how people are hiding behind the fact that this is a prank.

So what will happen to the forums? Will this stay the official forums? Or will it be moved again? If it's moved, will all the threads be moved or will it be a new forum?

Also, will our in game accounts stay safe? Or will we have to restart them as well? Will there be any "bonuses" for those of us that have been around awhile before the switch? For instance, some free stuff or a month or two of no payments? That's being kind of optimistic, but I think it would be wise of them if they don't want to lose a large part of the current gamers right off the bat. Or would the game even become beta and many current players testers?

The one great thing about this is the PvP system will get an overhaul. I think it will be mostly bug free and probably have some new features. Hopefully they include a great PvP spectator system as well. And who knows, we may even get to see tag duels. And, of course, the amount of cards/updates will increase, which is probably what this game needs most of all (not that Zanz did a bad job).

I could probably go on with more questions, but I'll stop there for now...

im sorry, but this would make the best april fools joke ever, and please forgive me if im spoiling some huge surprise, but i have to say, holy cow indead, perhaps they put the holy cow card as the oracle drop in purpose to disguise the REAL joke: this post, again, admins please forgive me for possable spoiling the whole joke(or if its not a joke for insulting you so) and also, im sorry i posted that idea for the mobile game that everyone else on the forum posted as well, im a newb, i didnt know it had been said before! (how much u wana bet that someone else has already posted this exact same thought, im not even looking cause if i do it will show up, so once again, forgive me, im just a newb, and im only human.) (and yes i think its a prank, THIS IS THE KING OF APRIL FOOLS JOKES IF IT IS! again im sorry.)(and im sorry this post was so long, ive just been realy humble since they froze the mobile game topic. i need to stop apologizing now, dont i.)
also, if this were real, he would have thought about how obvious an april fools joke it would be, or at least seem like. and on a (hopefully) final note, several admins or elites are saying zanz told them himself, maby even they are being fooled? could zanz have it in his "possably" evil heart to trick all the elements forum players? even to fool his administrators?!>! (also this game shows up on kongregate, its a flash game, i rly dont think wizardz of te cost would buy out a flash game, but i could be wrong)

This news is really upsetting, I know that there will be a lot of cool new changes, but I like elements the way it is. I might be one of the people who stop playing elements if it requires a monthly fee.


BTW, if this really is an April Fool's joke, I totally fell for it.

I cannot believe this becuase the announcement came on April 1st. It has got to be an April Fools joke.
