Master of Games, Master of Mafia, and Mafia Achievements

As seen in the Master of Games thread, points are already awarded for winning. These achievements will award additional points the first time you have won as a certain party.

Irrelevant has been replaced by Consolation Prize.

Please view the update log for any further changes.

Question: For Medicine Melancholy (3) does persuading others to NOT kill a mafia count? Also for Fatality (3) and Trigger Happy Havoc (3) do lynches count?
Question: For Red Shirt (1), does it count if someone was permanently or temporarily removed of all abilities during the game? Also what about 1U and nU abilities that were exhausted during the game?

Achievements are to be objective, and therefore will not include any form of psychology.

To protect someone is to target that person with an ability and have them survive something otherwise fatal because of it. Abilities that target the attacker or redirect the kill will not fulfill this purpose.

To kill someone is to target someone with an ability and have them die because of it. Voting is not an ability.

Red Shirt is awarded to people who started with no ability.

Technically? No.

The issue currently still in play is that Mafia 54 has -not- been updated in regards to the information being supplied at the end (i.e. - roles/role usage was not revealed by the host), so achievements that rely on that information has been halted indefinitely until that game information is given. Until then, Mafias 51-53 (alongside Mafias 55-57) are correct and relatively up to date.

Would it be an idea to have MoM points decay over time or is that a bad idea? eg lose 5% of your points for each game you don't participate in

Now, I come for the rest.

Five years.

That's how long it's been since I signed up for my first forum game here, and since I earned my first Master of Games points. I've played in almost every forum game hosted here since then. While I've made countless memories and many friends along the way, during all of that time I was in pursuit of a single goal. I wanted to be the best. I felt like I accomplished everything I wanted to in mafia a while ago, but for the other half of the section, especially after the travesty that was Relic Sweeper 2, one man always stood in my way. Kuroaitou. Despite my best efforts, the gulf in points was simply too great, and the Master of Games title eluded me. For five long years, I was unable to overcome the legend that we all know and love.

Until today.

The last major item on my Elements bucket list has been completed. I can't really express how much this means to me, but I will say this:

I love Elements. I love forum games. I love all the hosts that set the bar for quality so high, that I am sure this is one of the top forum game sections on the internet, and I love all the members of the community who made running it possible. May its spirit live on.
