Hmmmmm, by my reasoning to this point there are but THREE possible codes left to try.  Unfortunately, I do not see any way to further reason hence it comes down to guessing the correct code out of the 3 remaining on the first or second try.  If it takes all three remaining guesses, I'll tie yet again.


(Sub - is there any way to change this "players that tie advance" rule?  I know it is mid-event so it is very likely not changeable this time but maybe consider for next iteration of Mastermind event.  If players so desired (I would expect few to consider this) they could guarantee advancement by simply ahead-of-time agreeing to tie and both avoid elimination.  Also, the event will begin to drag as 6-6 ties occur round after round.)
