This is a Mafia/Werewolf style game.
It is roleplay heavy. Good players will get into their roles and actively contribute in character.
Premise:
Players have gone to an island resort "Isle de la Sol" (Island of the Sun) for vacation. Players sign up by saying "I take a plane to Sun Island Resort" or I catch a boat to Sun Island Resort".
While at the resort, a horrible storm hits, foolishly, players chose to stay on the island or miss the boat. The hotel assures everyone things will be fine. During the storm power goes out, a plane crashes somewhere on the island and on waking the next morning, everyone finds out that the place is deserted, they are alone.

Players begin in a chosen location (by the mod) and should probably keep it secret at first if possible.
On looking about the Island, they find No Power, No Phones and No Supplies. Very early, they will notice that Infected people will violently attack them and try to Infect them as well. Infected people avoid light and act during nighttime, Healthy people act during the day. A plane went down in the Jungle, seen trailing smoke the night of the storm.
Players may Move, Search, Use an Item or Fortify. Finding Items grants 'skills' or new Actions, such as a First Aid Kit allows some to be revived if present. A Flashlight lets someone search a Dark Area.
Players must Eat and Drink each day.
Players must find food and avoid being killed. They must survive until all Zombies are Killed or they are rescued somehow.
Players may not Lynch, but can kill some Zombies if they have a weapon. Zombies can Hunt in an area and can kill if they find people there. If you encounter a Zombie, you must escape. If you take damage but are not Killed, you are Infected and can act for two more days. On day one, you cant be detected easily, on day two you have obvious symptoms, on day three you are a Zombie and cant use Items anymore or weapons and act 'en masse' with the other zombies, voting on where to Hunt and try to find people. You are compelled to infect others by Blood or Saliva contact with a wound, mouth or eye of a Health person. If you are Healthy
Fortifyingyou can Fortify certain hiding places. You need Board and Nails/Screws and a Hammer or Screwgun. The More Boards you have the more you can fortify. the higher the level, the more zombies it takes to break in, but you are stuck as well. You need food and water to stay there for a number of days or you get weak and cant out run Zombies and you will die easily.

Actions are taken by PMing the Moderator each day or Night. Once people gather they post in the thread. You may move twice and perform 2 actions per day. If you want, you can try for more than that, a third action, but you risk 'being caught out' when the zombies roam and they get an extra action. Once the group is collected, they make decisions in thread and 'stragglers' via PM. Zombies act via PM.
Rescueyou need to find a working Radio Transmitter and call for help. You can build a Bonfire to signal a passing ship. There is a supply ship scheduled every two weeks, so you can get one in 14 days at the Docks if you live that long.
Weapons:
Melee weapons: these can only be used to fend off an attacker. If the Attacker has a Ranged weapon, you lose.

Ranged Weapons: These have a Number of Shots and a Power. If you are attacked by a higher Power, you lose. You can only use this a number of times equal to Shots

Flashlight-search dark areas
Walkie-Talkie-use Private Messages with another User
Can Opener-eat canned food
Canteen-hold an extra day of water
Knife-cut things
Screwgun-fortify
Hammer-fortify
Crowbar-open crates or barricades
Food - perishable, fruits, meat etc, expires after 1 day.
Boards/Nails - fortify
Rope-good for climbing up or down, tying things up etc
First Aid Kit-heal a minor wound, stop bleeding
There are likely to be other items as well.
RolesDoctor - can revive a patient if preset when wounded, if has access to a Pharmacy and Drugs, can make a Vaccine using Infected Tissue, very hard to do
Carpenter - double levels of Fortify
Sailor - can sail a ship to escape if a working boat can be found or repaired
Veteran - good at hiding and scavenging, can go one extra day without water and two without food, can live off the land but must stay out at night.
Carrier - carries and spreads the virus, can be lynched by popular vote
Common Zombie - these are villagers that roam, they are not controlled by a player
Willful Zombie- this is a player that is infected and can act but not use items/skills
There may be other Roles as well.
