Witch Game 5 - The Anniversary

After Alfred dropped the main masterkey, Lucy used a secret passage that is too small for a human to pass through to reach in and retrieve the key. She then unlocked the door, killed Alfred, left the dark room, and locked the door from the outside.

I wish I could counter this somehow, but this is not the time, I guess. Well played!

But the mystery is not solved yet, until you post the full solution.~

After getting down from the cross, Alfred took Simon's key from his office. He went to the surveillance room and unlocked it, but found Lucy there. He ran and locked himself in another room (from the inside, using Simon's key). Lucy turned off the lights and made herself to resemble a witch. Showing herself through the window in the door, she scared Alfred (since his 2 biggest fears are the dark and witches). His heart condition plus his injuries from the cross, combined with the scares, led him to drop the key. Lucy reached through a small passageway (too small for humans to fully pass), retrieved the key, unlocked the door, entered the room, killed Alfred, left the room, and locked the door from the outside.

Very well. Mystery #6 is fully solved!

After Alfred unintentionally freed Lucy from the Surveillance Camera Room, he ran away and locked himself in another room on the same floor. Lucy went back to the Camera Room, shut down the electricity, returned to the room where Alfred was hiding and pretended that she went to chase someone else. But in reality, she crawled under the room's window and waited until Alfred came close to inspect the hallway. Lucy then jumpscared Alfred by showing herself through the window in the dark (his 2 biggest fears were darkness and witches). This reminded Alfred of his old times in the inquisition and his heart problems returned. He also started to feel intense pain from his wounds on the cross, so eventually he dropped his masterkey. While Alfred was busy with taking his medicine, Lucy reached in for the masterkey through a small hole, retrieved the key, unlocked the door, entered the room, killed Alfred, left the room, and locked the door from the outside. Later when you found the butler, you assumed that you found Tina.

• Find out what's missing. Fill in the holes.
• Do it in a reasonable amount of time.

The Human Team has taken too long being idle. In this game, you don't have infinite time. If you take too long, you lose.~*

Personal request for the host to condense the solved red truths into spoilers (i.e. - red truths that were helpful in solving a part of a mystery should go in a spoiler, while the actual solution in red is left visible). This way, I don't have to scroll through several lines of red text to see what red truths belong to who.

Specifically, the ones for Alfred and Tina. But anyway - let's do some Stan:

Stanley committed suicide.
Stanley died due to illness, accident, or poison.

Stanley's killer opened the room with a guest room key (rather than a Master key), or used a copy of a guest room key to enter his room, kill him, then leave and relock the door from the outside.

Stanley was killed by a long-ranged weapon (electrocution, wires, etc.?) that managed to penetrate Stanley's room through the ceiling and kill him, splattering his blood and forcing his body onto the opposite side of the room.

Stanley's killer entered the room through the window, the ceiling, a secret passage way/ventilation shaft, or the floor; after the culprit killed him, they took his key OR had a guest room key/copy to lock the door from the outside.

Stanley let a person in that eventually killed him, and he locked the door from the outside; alternatively, Stanley's visitor during the night invited another person in to kill him, and both parties escaped the area and locked the door.





After Lucy killed Eric inside the Surveillance Room during the night, she did not turn off the electricity or cameras immediately. Instead, she used the cameras as a vantage point to figure out the location of where Stanley was, and directed Stanley's killer towards his location from the top floor/on the roof of the building. Stanley's killer was then able to kill him with a long-ranged weapon from an upper floor without being in the same room as Stanley, and the door was never unlocked during the night or until Natalie opened it up for us.


Chronology of WHEN THE MURDERS HAPPENED, rather than how the mysteries are ordered:

Lucy used one of the keys to the surveillance room to unlock the door, entered the room, and locked the door from the inside using the same key. She then killed Eric and threw the key on the floor. Alfred, who was freed at this point by someone who used a hand grenade from the outside of the Chapel, was able to pick up Simon's main masterkey in the office, and then free/unlock Lucy from the camera room. After Lucy killed Alfred (mystery 6), she used Simon's master key to lock the Camera room from the outside, and then fled the scene.

By the time this happened, Alfred regained his consciousness and escaped the chapel too. After he received a new key from Simon's office, he heard Eric's scream from upstairs. Alfred hurried up to see what happened and unlocked the door with his new masterkey. But when he opened the door, Eric was already killed by Lucy. Later Lucy could steal Alfred's masterkey to close the surveillance room's door from the outside. Lucy dropped the room's original key on the floor as a distraction.

A person entered Stanley's guestroom using a relevant key, but dropped the key outside before entering. They then killed Stanley, left the room, and locked the door from the outside using the relevant key that was dropped on the floor prior to Stanley's death.

Stanley's murdered opened the doorway using a relevant key and killed him with a ranged weapon, such as a silenced pistol, from the doorway without entering the room. The murderer then closed and locked the door from the outside with a relevant key.

After the murdered killed Stanley, they hid the relevant key used to unlock the guestroom in a place where we could not find or see it, such as in a secret passage way, underneath the bed, in his pocket, in the closet, or any area that obscured our line of sight from it. Thus, he left the key inside the room before leaving, and locked the room with either a masterkey or some other key.

Stanley invited a person (A) into his room; person A dropped a bomb or detonation-based device inside the room while he wasn't aware, and upon person A leaving the room, Stanley's actual murderer (person B) detonated the device from afar, killing him from long range.

I'm gonna counter the first 3 with a single red truth:

Stanley's killer didn't lock the guestroom doors from the outside between Stanley being killed and you seeing Stanley's body.

For the fourth, I'm gonna use this:

Before Natalie and you opened Stanley's guestroom, it was locked.
