Playing on the 4th, 7th or 9th means a sure loss for you, so if you fill with me the 1st and 2nd column ( are spots where it doesn't matter what is happening)


 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 


Since neither of us can play on the 4th column without losing and we can no longer attack the first spot in the 4th column nothing productive will happen in these 4 turns (we also can't form 3 without forcing a block from the opponent). At this point it will be my turn. Since you can't play on the 4th, 7th and 9th I can force this (playing repeatedly/ forcing you to play on the 8th column)
