In the dead of night, a Witch cackles to herself. "What have we here? These boys dare trespass on MY property?"
The Witch stands alone in the center of the dining area. She glances at the sleeping face on the couch.

"Hmm, this is a new face. Mayhaps I shall let you off today."

She turns to each of the guestroom doors.

"But what excuse can be found for the rest? Did they not heed my warnings last time?"

"Tonight, they shall learn the limits of my patience. And let it be a warning to the little one, not to show his face again."

She walks slowly over to Bill's room. The door is locked, but that means nothing to a Witch. She traces a pattern with her hand and disappears, rematerializing on the other side of the door.

The Witch is not here to show mercy today. A knife appears in her hand, and without hesitation she plunges it straight into Bill's heart. He doesn't have time to wake up or scream. An instant death.

One by one, she repeats the same motions with the other two cousins. Then, with one last cackle, she fades into the night.

- There's no way you wouldn't notice someone trying to sneak past you in the common room.

If a person couldn't sneak past then surely a witch laughing to herself and walking around would wake you.
Therefore, the story with the witch is just bogus

For clarification purposes since I am just joining now. Bear with me please T_T.

1. Is the condition of the house well-maintained? Such as whether the bolts, etc were rusty or worn-out.
2. The dining area is on the table that is near the couch or is it in the kitchen?
3. Is it possible for a human to be hidden in the closet? If so, can the human be undetected?
4. Was the cousins asleep when the murder occurs or were they awake?
5. Did the murder occur in the morning or the night/what time did I slept?
6. The victims all died in their bed, which is in the view of the window, correct?
7. Was the perfect seals for 1 of the doors broken by the person who was checking up on his cousins?
8. Is the detective and the person(Who is known as you in the story) the same person? Who is this detective who just appeared? O_O.
9. Were there any items in the drawers at all? If so, are there any that could possibly be used to fabricate or perform a 'perfect seal' condition without the natural implements provided?(Bolts, lock on window)
