Something we've been assuming for some time, but might still be ambiguous depending on what the exact wording means:

- When you checked and entered each guestroom, other than you and the respective cousin, no human existed within the room.

Does this mean that when the detective checked/entered the guestroom that there was no other human the detective could notice, or that there was no other human in that room at all?
Does the word "guestroom" refer to the bedroom, or the guestroom as a whole?
Does the word "room" refer to the bedroom, or the guestroom as a whole?

Actually, I didn't want the windows to be there, since if they were, she would probably not say anything, but if I say only the doors she might repeat it, and thus leave the windows for using. Although, the best now would be to simply hve both our statements and see if EvaRia wants to respond to either.

After the cousins sleep, the culprit enters the room of one of them; using a knife, he instantly kills the first cousin. He then places a relatively heavy rock on the crack of the ceilings, positioned above the sliding bolt of the window that would close it. When leaving through the window, he closes it, but does not lock it. He repeats the step for the other two cousins. Climbing to the ceiling, he then knocks on the ceiling, dropping the rocks on the sliding bolts and effectively locking all three windows.


Direct action from a human, windows locked from the "inside" with an external "outside" influence from the culprit.

Likewise, this is assuming the windows would be locked this way.. and not with a key..

The windows lock with a latch (stated but not in red) so it would be pretty difficult to close with a falling rock.

To be stated and to not be in red means it is not necessarily true. With that stupid blue theory I could get a red truth that specifies how is the window truly locked.

Except that it is impossible to perfectly seal a window or door from the outside.

The window was locked from inside, wasn't it? The rock was knocked and hit the sliding bolt from inside the room.
