I'm trying to get the hang of this again.
I want to ask you some clarifications, Kuro. These would be:
- How many keys are there in the game and who had them initially?
- Who is Jack? What do we need to know about him? What is his job on the train?
- Is the short conversation necessary about Jack? If yes, please finish the sentence about him. A more lenghty conversation would also be great in that case. ^^
Now that the technical part is ready, it's time for another truth breakdown!
Marcia and the culprit were in the same room when Marcia died. Before that point, the murderer did not enter the driver's cart. That means Marcia didn't die in the driver's cart. However, Marcia had to be in the driver's cart before the first murder. This means a culprit somehow killed someone in the driver's cart by not even being inside, then Marcia left the location into the culprit's arms.
The murder either happened by a pre-transported item/effect, a 4th person, a penetrating energy-weapon (e.g: railgun, heat laser, etc), or something long-ranged / gravity-affected. Bear my new truths:
The culprit used a weapon-type that can penetrate solid material (e.g: railgun, heat laser, etc) to kill one of the drivers inside.
The culprit poured molten lava or acid on the roof panel. When it melt through the panel, it poured on one of the drivers. The effect was lethal and the driver died. Please repeat the correct clarifications in black:
When the culprit killed anyone, he maintained direct eye-contact with his victims.
The only way to maintain direct eye-contact with someone in the driver's cart from outside is either through the open door, the open roofpanel or the frontal window. (maintaining direct eye-contact doesn't mean that you need to look in someone's eye, but it means that you need to look at them. This is only possible if there are no solid, non-transparent objects between the culprit and the victim. Seeing someone's reflection does not count as direct eyecontact.)
When the first murder occurred in the Driver's cart, Marcia was already inside.
At that point, Marcia was still alive.Marcia was already inside the Driver's cart when the first murder occurred in the story. OR
Marcia was already inside the Driver's cart when the first murder occurred in the driver's cart.
