Alicia, Lucy, and Lucy's accomplice were in the room. Lucy killed Alicia. Lucy left the room. Lucy's accomplice locked the door. Lucy's accomplice then hid under the bed until morning, like a very patient Solid Snake. In the morning, after you left Alicia's room to head to the hall, Lucy's accomplice left the room. Lucy's accomplice is a Brazilian stripper-assassin named Jorge.

I was gonna say something similar to this, with the exception that it was Alicia's murderer who left the room while Lucy locked the door from the inside and stayed in Alicia's room. To counter a previous red truth, LUCY DID NOT SLEEP during the night.

I already said: No one helped Alicia's murderer to escape the room.
If this is not enough for you: When you woke up, there was no human inside Alicia's room except Alicia, who was dead.

Yeah, it was necessary. I was exploiting that the murderer was not escaping the room, merely leaving it, and even if it were considered an escape, the escape part was done alone.

Lucy entered Alicia's unlocked room initially and stabbed/killed Alicia. She left the room and then used a magnet or special device to fix/close the lock on the outside of the room (because the door either used some sort of card key system, or because it used terrible physical keys that a set of tools could lock up).

Did not see this post before, sorry, but: You need a key to lock the doors from the outside.

Luckily for her, Lucy had quickly found a use for the portable Hollywood-certified bouncy mat she bought the previous afternoon (they were 50% off at Wal-Mart). When the clock struck midnight, Lucy furtively placed the mat underneath Alicia's window outside the building. Then, Lucy entered Alicia's room (through the door, obviously). Flashing a smile, Lucy locked the door behind her, commented on how ugly Alicia's nightgown was, and apparated a knife from behind her back. Before Alicia could make a sound, the same knife was stuck buried deep in her chest. Lucy opened the window, leapt out and landed safely on the bouncy mat below. She then packed it up back into her room, and waited for morning to come.

She was there when Howard unlocked and opened the door. But to her horror, Lucy realized the window she escaped from was still open! Telling Howard his shoelaces were untied, Lucy used Howard's moment of pedovista to rush to the window and lock it before kneeling in front of Alicia's corpse to mask her suspicious behavior as an act of sorrow. Only Lucy knew the truth.

Lucy entered Alicia's door either by her roomkey or by walking through the already open door. After Lucy killed Alicia, she closed the door from the inside and cautiously climbed out the window. On the way down, she used something (ANYTHING!) to get on the ground safely and without trace. This way the window was left open for the night. In the morning after Howard opened Alicia's door and we woke up, but only before we got there, either Lucy or Howard closed the open window.

Blue truth is incomplete. I have listed a number of ways that is impossible to use while getting down from the window. I still haven't got one that works.

Listing is not gonna work. See the following situation:

I say Lucy escaped by jumping. - You counter it by saying Lucy did not jump.
I say Lucy escaped by climbing. - You counter it by saying Lucy did not climb.
I say Lucy escaped by using ladder. - You counter it by saying Lucy did not use ladder.

And this could go to the infinite and beyond...

In the middle of the night, Lucy appeared outside Alicia's window as a practical joke. She had come down on a rope fastened to the third floor windowsill directly above Alicia's window. Alicia, although scared nearly (but not quite) to death, quickly unlocked and opened the window to let her friend in. This would have been all well and good, but Alicia created the grave mistake of leaving her shoe closet open, revealing all the shoes she stole from Lucy over the years. When Lucy saw this, she became enraged, took out the vegetable cleaver she always carried around, and stabbed Alicia in the chest. Then, Lucy climbed out the window onto the rope, kicked the window closed with her foot, and climbed up to the third floor where she easily pulled up the rope and closed the third floor window. Lucy locked the window in the time between you waking up and you arriving at the room.
