The Witch's Game 3

- In this case, 'did not leave Howard's possession' means that 'it was always within Howard's reach' and 'no one except Howard could have used it'.

A rope was tied to an adjacent room's windowsill (or object within that adjacent room) of Alicia's room before this all occurred. Lucy was let in normally by Alicia, but stabbed Alicia to death and locked the door from the inside. Lucy was then able to jump out of the window and grabbed the rope, allowing her to climb down normally, entering the building through a non-window source.

Lucy entered the room right above Alicia's, tied a rope inside it, and threw the end out of the window.
Alicia let Lucy into the room through the door.
Lucy killed Alicia and locked the door from the inside.
Lucy left through the window, climbing down the rope that was right outside and then enterd through the main entrance.

You have almost proved that my magic does not exist. "Almost".
I have one line of defense left, the last part of the story, which you probably waved away as mere fantasy:

The Witch stood on the roof of the house, looking down at the poor guy who had gotten the blame for everything she had done. She teleported to the living room of the hotel, tired after a long morning full of magic. Since it was gonna take the policemen quite a while to understand what had happened, the Witch decided to take a little rest.
and with this I give you:
There is a woman lying on the sofa in the living room. The only door to the room is locked from the outside.

The only answer to this of course, is that she is the Witch!

Me: Officers, Bill, let me explain...

Regardless of whether or not Alicia was Lucy's friend, Lucy had plotted to kill Alicia all along for some sick reason. She hung a rope from the room above Alicia's and threw it down to the ground. When Alicia let Lucy in normally, Lucy backstabbed her (literally), killing her in the process and then locked the door from the inside, using the rope hung earlier to climb down to safety. She entered the building normally and probably removed the rope from that room later on before Howard could see it the next day.

Lucy faced her suicide - Howard was probably too scared to deal with whatever threat Lucy was holding against him, despite Howard telling us that she was dead after checking her pulse earlier with a fake knife embedded in her chest. While Bill left to get some help, Charlie must have forgotten his room key, because by the time both Charlie and Howard left to their rooms, Lucy was already plotted to get rid of us all in some way or another. She forced Howard to commit suicide by hanging, and then locked the inside of his room with a key, taking his Master Key in the process, and then leaving the room through a secret passage.

Since Charlie forgot his room key, she got Charlie's room key, unlocked that door, and killed him next, leaving the room key in that room and relocking that room with the Master Key. I was stuck the entire time in the basement, and she threw the Master Key underneath the door, attempting to incriminate me, but I assure you, she was the one behind all of this.

...and now, Lucy is the one lying on the sofa in the damn living room! She snuck into that room from a secret passage, and locked it from the inside normally/with her room key!

She used the Master key then to lock the living room door.

There is one secret passage, and it was used to move from Howard's room to the living room. The room was locked via master key before Howard's death.

She used the Master key to lock the living room door, threw the Masterkey then under the basement door, went into Howard's room, and entered the living room through the secret passage that was between that room and Howard's room. That is the only secret passage in the game.

I have no counter to this. Congratulations. The magic is completely disproved, and the Witch is defeated.

Spoiler for the real story:

Lucy had always been a bit ...crazy. As a child, she had been at the Happy Witch's Hotel several times, and heard many stories about the Witch that was supposed to live there. While she deep down knew magic did not exist, she could still almost feel the presence of the Witch. Her best friend, Alicia, did not believe any of these stories, and usually made fun of Lucy for believing them.

One day, when they both had become older, they decided to visit the hotel again. Lucy was horrifed with the state that the hotel was in, and was angry at the owner because he had let the Witch's house become like this. Alicia just kept making fun of Lucy, and she finally had enough. She decided to show everyone that the Witch existed.

First, she killed Alica and made sure it would seem like an 'impossible murder'. She then, in secret, convinced Howard that she had a plan to find out the real murderer, and all he needed to do was to help fake her death. When this was done, she killed Charlie in what would look like a locked room, forced Howard to commit suicide and released you from the basement to further confuse everyone, convinced that this would make people finally believe that the Witch existed.

During one of her visits as a child, the previous owner (Howard's father) had shown her a secret passage between the owner's room and the living room, used by the owner to quickly move around in the hotel. She used the lever hidden behind the cupboard to open the passage and used it to exit Howard's room and enter the living room. She realized that if she stayed alive, the story of the Witch would never remain forever, since eventually the truth might have been revealed. To make sure the true story stayed unknown forever, and to make everyone more convinced it was a Witch, she laid down on the sofa, and commited suicide.

Good game everyone! I hope this have been as fun (but probably more frustrating) for you as it has been for me. It is up to you to choose who to be the next Witch and post a new Game.

Amazing game Fippe94. At first, I wasn't really into the Witch's Game, but for some reason this time around I got hooked, and I was glad to be a participant.

To be completely fair to Lucy, Alicia is a complete bitch - it's one thing to tease her, but damn, having someone's childhood memories ruined is bad enough. Rubbing salt in the round multiple years later is completely unnecessary, and probably not a good thing to do if you know that person is mentally unstable. And, considering the fact that it took FOREVER (relatively speaking) for the Humans to figure out how she died compared to the other mysteries, I say she deserved it most. The others were unfortunate collateral (except Bill - I'm not sure why no one else followed him for safety reasons?).

...I have an idea for the next Witch game, but this is not exactly a 'Witch', per se... Do you believe in warlocks though? XD

Very well, Fippe. We also have to give you some green truths, that represent the past:

The plan is the following: Fippe is usually a lazy guy, so we have to collect a very huge list for him on possible ways to exit safely through the window. Once he sees the list, he will be shocked by the block of text and he will give a straight red truth.
