You've never played against me as a human before, have you?
I've never been the challenger either so this should be fun!
Get ready!
First, I request a confirmation that this story follows the rules of Knox's Decalogue. You may refuse the truth if deemed necessary.
Let's start with the obvious theories.
Escaping the shower:
It's possible that the man who you imprisoned in the shower simply broke the glass to escape from your shower trap.No man could have broken it without some sort of superhuman strength.
Repeat it in pink!
It's possible that at the moment I left the shower room, the enclosure in the shower wasn't perfect. For example, if there was no ceiling in the shower or a hole in the wall large enough for a human to pass through. In any of these possibilities, the man I trapped could simply have left through the opening.I request a description in pink regarding the nature of the "closed" shower.
The water draining:
This seems simple, but it's definitely a small segment of the mystery.
It's possible that the water didn't actually drain. If so, there would be water all over the floor of the bathroom.Repeat it in pink! "When you came back to the bathroom, there was no water on the floor."
The house is old. It's possible that there just isn't any plumbing. In that case, turning the shower on would not result in any water coming through the showerhead, and there would be no water to drain in the first place.Repeat it in pink! "As long as the shower is turned on, water will definitely come through the showerhead." and "You definitely turned on the shower before leaving the bathroom."
It's possible that my method of plugging up the shower was imperfect or disruptable. If imperfect, the shower would simply drain, nothing strange about it. If disruptable, the man I trapped in the shower could simply remove the plug and the water would drain.I request a description of how I plugged the shower.
Shattering the glass:
Anyone could have just smashed the glass! there's nothing strange about it at all! This can be countered same as my first statement. I'd like a confirmation that it's not possible to break the glass with your bare hands.
Else -
It's possible that the glass was smashed after the man you trapped inside the shower escaped. If this is true, then any tool required to smash the glass (Say, a sledgehammer or crowbar) could simply be procured without difficulty. There's nothing strange about it!No request here, just show me your counter!
The murder:
Any human in the world without an alibi could have performed the murder! There's nothing strange about it at all!I request some limiting factor (say, a closed room, a limitation of culprits) that actually makes this less than completely possible.
