I suppose the expanding foam is a safer option. I think we engineers would prefer not to put forward the resources to fix it a second time having already done it once. Who is using the expanding foam?

So I'm confused as to how yellow are being controlled. Onion you said that there aren't any HS's in the thread but surely you're the one controlling them so you get to decide their actions after seeing the actions we've posted in the thread? (EDIT:  Nvm i figured out what you meant earlier)

Spoiler for Pipeworks at the end of Round 11:
Map at the end of Round 11:

Items at the end of Round 11:

Spoiler for Notable events:
Megalomaniacs placed Some Less Bricks inside the Main Reactor. The Reactor was at 86% power, and the AI was able to divert enough of this to an emergency shut-down procedure. As a result, the Main Reactor switched itself off, but its internal components remain undamaged.
Engineers invaded Hostile Survivor territory on M14.
Wraiths used Some Less Bricks to create a western wall on V12.
Hostile Survivors attempted to use Running Shoes North from L14 but failed.
Megalomaniacs, Engineers and Hostile Survivors all competed for control of N15 at the same time. Engineers had the most influence, so they won.
Hunters launched a Javelin south from Q7, taking out a single tile of Hostile Survivors territory.
Wraiths attempted to open a can of Expanding Foam nowhere near their territory.
Engineers launched a Javelin east from M14. Some Hostile Survivor territory decayed owing to having 0 influence.

Hunters donated a Uranium Rod to the Chefs by request, so they could test their Nuclear Underground Kitchen Edlible-ifier.

Engineers claimed N14 and took control of the Main Reactor. They didn't find anything in the Dark Storage. They would be recommended not to turn the Reactor on until the damage has been repaired.

Chefs tested their Nuclear Underground Kitchen Edlible-ifier, or N.U.K.E. for short. The test was unsuccessful.

Hostile Survivors had no successful actions this round.
Owing to not being able to see what they're doing because they have a visibility radius of -1, Hostile Survivors are a little disoriented.

Engineers picked up a Uranium Rod on D10.Megalomaniacs picked up a Library Card and Some Bricks on R16. The Library Card is worth Nothing, for now.
Wraiths picked up an A Bomb on X12.
Full rules document - Spreadsheet

ROUND 12

The Chefs wanted to test their creation, so they begged for resources. In return, they would grant the Hunters the forefront of nuclear technology.

The experiment failed.

The survivors of the radiation wave, ready to do battle against those that had oppressed them, were quelled. The Engineers and Hunters barely lifted a finger.

Megalomaniacs grew paranoid and wasted some time claiming territory they already own.

Dust falls from the ceiling as concrete grinds slowly down upon itself and iron supports buried far out of sight strain, but today, everybody lives. There was no collapse.

Round 12 has ended.

Submit your actions in the top six lines of your titanpad. Please PM me any queries.

Sooooo, am I reading it right that a collapse DID happen and that is why Hunters lost so much territory?  If so, it appears to me like the faction doing the least drilling/hammering/structure-damaging activity suffered the most from the collapse... >.<

There was no collapse. The Chefs were building a cooking device called a N.U.K.E. that you contributed uranium to.

I'd encourage you to post the PM I sent last round.

What? Was it a horde of these guys?

Letter from the Chefs:
Dear Hunters,

Hiya.

We're looking to conduct a sort of... experiment. We've managed to create a device that's on the cutting edge of nuclear cooking technology.

It's fuelled by nuclear energy, it's underground, it's in the Kitchens, and it prepares edibles. So, imaginatively, we call it the Nuclear Underground Kitchen Edible-ifier.

And we have a perfect sample of the Pipework's traditional delicacy - Pipe Mould - to roast on it. The thing is, this Edible-ifier is a bit... power-greedy. It actually costs us 3 Uranium Rods to run each time, and as we keep developing it, that number should decrease.

We already have 2 Uranium Rods. We just need one more.

If you can help us out, and if we succeed, we'll let you have some of our most secret nuclear technology.

Kind regards,

Head Chef Damian Ravioli

The worst part is you didn't even mention it to anyone else. Backstab-level right there.

Not hardly - there was a whole team of Hunters that didn't mention it... no need to single me out for it. It was oversight - there was no malicious plan with the Hunters faction to mislead.

I never said it was you. I meant your team in general. Why should the rest of us work with you if you aren't going to fill us in? You aimed for something in complete secrecy that you had no reason to keep secret.

Also, the wraith/hunter player was afk all round so this why word of this never got out on our end. In fact, I had to post moves semi-last minute (for me) because no one got on for me to run things by in megas or wraiths.

May I point out also that if the uranium rod had gone to us in action 1 instead of to the chefs then we could have turned off the reactor naturally and not had to spend even more uranium and expanding foam and bricks and hammers to solve it. I think it would be fair for hunters to give either us or Megas some of the above items to help turn on the reactor again.
