CleO, would Hunters making moves towards S27 loading bay make some sort of resource GATHERING possible instead of the current outcome choices of overload-collapses _or_ shutting off reactor?
Sure, if you also had a couple hundred Hunters down in the mines. Issue is, the mines aren't on the map

So, you're saying we get to have the reactor on for 3 or 4 rounds (total, including this round) and there is nothing we can do to make it feasible to leave on longer without collapsing things??!?!!!!? (That's what I'm getting from that response...)

We can turn it back on when yellow is gone and we deactivate the mining process immediately after.

Also, wording on running shoes is a little ambiguous: "Send a scout from that tile which will move in that direction, expanding your territory into all unoccupied tiles it enters. It will run until it has moved 4 tiles or it reaches a dead end"

Unoccupied by anyone? or just the faction using it?

Try turning off Resource Collection.

Unoccupied = no territory

i.e. Running Shoes won't claim enemy territory for you. However, enemy territory won't stop it moving, and it can still claim on the other side of a piece of territory.

I would advise against using expanding foam /bricks on the reactor because I believe that breaks it again (and also causes the whole killer radiation thing). If someone were willing to donate us a uranium rod in action 1 or 2 we'd be happy to turn it off "naturally".

We are planning to expand north into M14 in action 1 then javelin east from there. We would appreciate it if Megas could help keep yellow from expanding too far into the reactor (our plan leaves the centre of the reactor open)

So Clean, presumably yellow are being controlled by you. Does this mean that they have knowledge of what the other factions are putting as their actions if it's posted in the forum?

I log HS's actions just after I make the post for the start of the new round, and don't change them after that unless I notice a mistake.

I haven't seen any Hostile Survivors in thread,  so I assume not

Clean,

Since yellow and fuchsia are factions of sorts, we request that their lists of items be made public knowledge just like the five factions which are not onionGM-controlled.

We can't deactivate the process or the reactor normally because we have to be in control of the main reactor, which requires:
- Reactor status stable
- Control over a majority(5) of the tiles in the reactor by a single faction
- Control over the central tile by the same faction

Engineers and megas both control 3, so we cannot activate or deactivate processes. Engineers can still use their group action, that is true. However, if one person in there goes missing in action or forgets, then we'll see the major collapse happen. It's safer to use the expanding foam, which requires no group action.
