Now would be an excellent time to restore the Integrity Testing functionality.

Sanitation may put up the Uranium Rod to do this; I'll discuss it with the team.

Meantime if someone else would like to volunteer to activate External Comms, I'm sure we're all very interested to see just what might happen.

Megas can activate comms in action 6. Someone already posted moves in wraiths so I'll have to see if they want to change them to activate anything.

I'm in favor of us activating ExComms this round, yeah, so we'll handle that. Elevator should also probably be done in addition to Integrity Testing, not sure about the others but we have enough rods to do them all with some to spare to deactivate them things go south.

My concern about activating the Elevator immediately is that whatever might be out there could be heavily irradiated or completely hostile (or both), and if we're opening up a passage to that...

...yes, I know radiation is cleanable, but I would at least try to see if anyone or anything is out there before activating that connection between this world and topsoil.

I would argue that turning Lighting on was also dangerous - it was hinted that we weren't alone in the pipes, and we had no clue what we would awaken. We turned it on even though that risk was present because the upside was extremely great. I see the Elevator as a similar gamble.

But I don't object to attempting to contact the surface a couple times before we activate it, I just think ultimately we should.

I agree, it would seem to be part of our eventual victory condition. I suppose my caution is borne of the lack of immediate upside which lighting provided.

In the pipes, we at least have some idea of how things work, even though we know there will be surprises. But the overworld...we know nothing yet. As such I advocate caution and, as you suggested, a turn or two of attempting to contact before scouting out that brave new world of sorts.

Right we've got two new factions apparently, pink and yellow. yellow are currently trapped by I imagine they shall be drilling their way out so we need to be careful, I think we need to have eradicating them fairly high on the priority list. Would Hunters be happy to deal with pink and megas with yellow (I fear they may be the biggest threat). Do we kill them straight away or do we try to somehow communicate with them and make peace?

None of my teammates have replied yet but I am proposing this as the Engineers actions. We would be willing to activate a process in the reactor but aren't really sure how important the other two are, next round we will reconsider after seeing the structural integrity of the pipes.

According to the lore CO sent us, Pink is safe and friendly to Hunters, but we're not sure how they'll react to other factions. We're expanding to surround them, in any case.
