Correct, assuming of course, the player in question actually enters your tile to obtain Energy Ring, and doesn't use other Relics to pick up that item from a distance.

What Submachine said. Terrifying = until the player successfully uses Fight/Assault stance, the buff is still on them.

Linkcat stared inside. He panted.

The outside world looked bland; the golden plains were not lit underneath the outside sky, as the clouds obscured the sun and the horizon. The dungeon sat there quietly, still enticing those who wished to enter. But there was no spark. The guardian inside was focusing its efforts to remove everyone inside one way or another, and had no time to shapeshift the aesthetic exterior to allure new travelers towards it.

In a desperate attempt, he decided to quickly head towards the sound of one of the recently killed travelers from the apparent echo of a man screaming, only to misstep onto a bunch of spikes. Who put these here? It wasn't on the map before... but no matter. He was so badly bruised he could barely limp, but he was determined to get to his destination.

To the northwest, Clean0nion said a prayer.

"...if there's any fight left in you, please get me out of this."

His whispers to the fan would not bring luck, but rather, a hopeful attempt to avoid the oncoming howls, mutterings, and horrific chants of the nearby ghosts honing in on his location. In one swift move, he quickly applied a heap of sap to deep gash on his thigh, then used his fan to blow himself towards a pit of snakes. The pain was excruciating, but alas, his pumping adrenaline forced himself to move quickly towards the north. Clean0nion outmanuevered the nearby ghosts and quickly planned his next steps towards his relatively alive teammate, who had taken camp at the former site of Orbit.

Can you please update the OP with "players on border tiles cannot be affected by relics"? Also, can Heavenly Fan throw someone out of a border tile?

Linkcat's strategy was simple - transverse the areas where switches were located around the Judgement chest, and grab the relics that belonged to the creepy yet coy Fippe94. A simple strategy begets simple rewards; none of his relics were all too useful, but the more the merrier for their team.

Unfortunately, Link's miscalculation came at the cost by the assumption that Fippe94 would remain non-mobile, or unanimated. As the latter's corpse rose up to strike Linkcat before he could grab the treasures, Linkcat had no more strength in him to recover, and fell down to the east of the lit pedestal; the light illuminating a room where an open chest and tablet was shown.

He closed his eyes once more, grasping a new axe that he managed to steal... Fippe's body pulsing in a disturbed fashion; a mimic of breathing.

Ginyu tried his hardest to keep himself from falling into any new traps.

He knew that the ghost was summoning dangers all around the map, and managed to avoid most of them thanks to deft planning and sheer luck. But the troubles were still lurking; his axe was grasped and taken from an annoying pigeon and replaced with a somewhat useless mask. No matter; the axe's magic was still wearing off, as a deep gash from an earlier attack was soldered shut. No pain no gain as they say.

Carefully avoiding to trigger any switches, Ginyu heading farther to the west, hearing and hoping that the hysterical crying from earlier would indicate a death... and treasure.

He didn't even bother looking around.

All he did, however, was simply stretch his arms wide.

And embraced his inevitable end.

The ghost gently went through him, and like a surgical knife, stopped his beating heart from pumping any more blood through MeowMeowCat's brain.

Sanitizing Coral gracefully fell onto the floor. No water nearby to heal its previous owner.

And MeowMeowCat followed. His body was no more.

Submachine quickly headed towards the recent corpse of MeowMeowCat, after hearing his body slap the floor. But the enemies around would not give him such an easy task.

The elements smacked Submachine around; first, a storm of frost had enveloped the area, causing him to lose both traction on the floor and control of his relics. His hammer froze solid and its soft white light dimmed by ice. Then, an immense gale forced Sub against the wall of the inner treasures; smacked around and now bleeding heavily from the icy cuts to his body, he wondered if the threat was finally over... only to feel a sudden burning on his skin. Every cut on his body was now searing hot, the arsonist oil that was applied everywhere was now burning him again.

He pressed onward, disoriented, hoping that he would reach the treasures... only to be met by an empty room.
