As I remember there were 5 Curse [X] tiles in the beginning, not including the ones on the border. Now it says that there are only 3 Curse tiles (not including border tiles) and all of them are discovered. Did 2 Curse tiles disappear?

How can you tell? I remember after phase 1 that I was wondering how the Curses are distributed and I remembered that if there is 1 in each corner, then there can only be 1 randomly spreaded on the field. This is why I'm firm that I saw somewhere that there were only 5 Curse tiles.

I'm pretty sure there are only 5 on the field. The formulas in columns AC and AD don't account for border X's and that messes the number up.

Yeah, so what Linkcat didn't see is that in AD10 it says there are 8 Curses total, so it DID update. It just updated wrong.
If it's just the formula messing up, then it makes sense again. I'd still like to see the correct totals there, though. Kuro, pls? ^^

The formula would be easy enough, but it'd assume that there are no other X tiles other than the border and the big "?" field. Making the formula more accurate would require exceptions (eg don't check the border for Xs) and that could reveal locations of hidden Xs to those examining the formula.

You hear the inside of the dungeon give a quiet hum. Two vibrant flashes of light (pink and gold specifically) could be seen for some...

Check the other tabs for other useful information regarding your Basic Actions, Relic Precedence, and notes of the overall game!

Tips and General Info:
-This is the 'true' total number of tiles (spoiler alert!):

Spoiler for Type of tile totals:
O - 100
# - 84 (note that the walls rotate when a switch is turned, so this amount technically stays the same) + 7 (potential walls)
X - 5 + 13 (potential Curses spots activated)
$ = 60 (by technicality)
S = 39
K = 13 + 3 (hidden/switch-based keys)
*/` = 30
^ = 20
! = 10
-/~ = 28
?/. = irrelevant

-The damage of Fight/Assault may be doubled next round to promote more aggressive tactics. In addition, Assault might stun a non-stunned target. A poll will be added shortly regarding this change.
-Remember; regeneration from -passive- Relic effects takes place BEFORE basic actions, but after all other relics have been used.

I don't think Fight or Assault should be given stunning as I can imagine this being abused a lot, unless it gave the stunned players a day of invincibility. But then they're stunned to it would be pointless, people might flock around to attack the next day. It should be the responsibility of an attacked player to run away or fight back, rather than be locked in place and forced to take more damage. Especially as Assaulting players get Invigoration

EDIT: make sure you vote in the poll

I agree with Clean, stunning after attacking would be too much. I don't think more aggresive should be promoted, players will get aggresive at some point, now it's more about exploring and gathering. But when one player gets many relics or all needed to win, I can imagine nasty stuff happening then...

Now, let's discuss something. I'm thinking about way to unlock those walls. Kuro wrote
Quote
-Sorry to disappoint with a bait and switch, but yes; the switches you all saw at the beginning do unlock the Relics within the walls. But they don't bring down the walls surrounding those unlocked Epic Relics necessarily. I'll let players figure out how the switches and the "outer" walls will affect each other for you to gain the relics...
If by "outer" walls he meant those 4 3-tiled walls then did someone figure out how were they moved? Cos those at top turned, clockwise, but why? We already can see how switches unlock chests inside walls. We can also see, that they curse  responding "O" tiles. What are you thoughts?
You can't always get what you want

Fight and Assault should do double the damage, if nothing else. Dealing 5 damage is a joke, barely a flesh wound, while dealing 10 damage would be decent, but it costs 2 AP, 2 freakin' AP. Fight should do 10-15 and Assault should do 15-20 damage. Don't forget that if you attempt attack someone, you need to find the tile they are going to step on, which is already hard in itself.

I'm against Fight and Assault being able to stun. Stun should be the extra bonus only achievable by reflecting back an attack with Defend/Cautious. They shouldn't do double damage though, they should only reflect 100%, not 200%.

And here is another suggestion. Defend, Fight and Explore should both cost 0 AP, and Cautious, Assault and Investigate should both cost 1 AP. 2 AP is just not worth it, unless it hits, but that is rare. Though the extra compensation (Invigorate) was a nice touch with them, so they could even stay however they were.
And we keep driving into the night
