Spoiler for Lore:

She could leave right now.

There was a boat sitting on the shore right there.

There wouldn't be a good explanation though; why so few 'treasures'? Where was her comrade? Why didn't she have a log of what happened during that day?

She balled up her fists, with one of them grasping a silk purse that felt warm, but itched her palms.

No.

She has to go back. Logic may be one thing, but whatever emotion she felt, she couldn't discard it, not this time.

Miho had to be around somewhere.

Round 30
The round has ended. Please hold on for the following round to go up...

THE MAIN GRID:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JbIetw-GGrK1G94Rv2-evwYjO4Z9GW0_6S_0iPMRfOk/edit#gid=0

Relics used:
  • Courier Swarm (Facing Northwest)
    • Items taken:
    • -CleanOnion: Jolt Herbs, Jolt Berries, Vita Potion
  • Rabid Centipede (L12, L13, U17, F8, F9, K9)
  • Astral Ballista (Linkcat; cannot use relics this round!)
  • Honeycomb Shield (+10 absorption for JonathanCrazyJ)

Items used:
  • dawn to dusk: Shrapnel Flower (on I53) [Walls on I51, G53, H53, I53, J53, K53, and I55 removed!]

Spoiler for Paradox's Chest:
Your eyes open in anxiety over the sudden chest you spot. Its design felt silly; the multiple 'eyes' that were carved into the metallic chest were only one part of the issue. The keyhole (or at least what you presumed to be one) was on top, a small circular opening that acted as the pupil of a particularly large eye. Inside, you note that there was a basin of some sort, and, based on the moving light reflected from the bottom, you knew that there was some sort of liquid inside. The note on the side of the chest chest read:

"To open my one closing, you must close your two openings
If you find a way to leak, you will get what you now seek."

As you took another look inside the pupil hole, you can't help but notice... something... A distinct smell... were those cayenne seeds?
Spoiler for Paradox's solution:
Simple lore, crazy riddles.

If you discard the excess 'eye' description, the solution is relatively straightforward. "To open my one closing" refers to Paradox's locking mechanism, while "you must close your two openings" refers to the player's own eye sight. "if you find a way to leak..." and etc., implies that the player must figure out a way to cry and/or 'blind' themselves, and no, it has nothing to do with Nymph Tears, complaining to the host, or necessary any type of water. 'Flashbangs' items similar to those used in RS2 were going to be implemented, but I instead thought of something a little bit more 'natural' to fit in the island-like environment: spices.

But the real paradox comes into play with the one of the two solutions: 1) while carrying Flammatory Spices, step on the safe to collect it immediately, OR 2) being afflicted by Flammatory Spices, step on the Safe to open it publicly.

The contradiction of course, comes with the latter part; if you apply Spices to yourself, you open the Safe, but you cannot pick up relics while you are afflicted by the effect as you can't see. If there were multiple players with spices, the safe would open to any of those players, but ironically using the Spices on a player about to collect it while performing the first solution will cause them not to pick it up, but open the Safe publicly.

Paradox is a silly false god anyway. Did I repeat myself somewhere? >_>

Spoiler for Serket's Chest:
The caves were dark, but you could still feel the- wait, what was that?

You hear a sudden hiss above you and look up... and see a very brightly colored (and somehow illuminated) lavender serpent slither and creep towards you in a very tranquil manner, then pause several meters away. It was long, and probably toxic based on the coloring scheme of it. No sudden movements; if it dropped, you would find yourself in a very nasty position...

"...Hhhhiiii...."

D... did it just speak?!

"Sssssseeking ssssssssssomething sssssir?"

The snake uncoiled part of its lower half around a stalactite, revealing a strange object partially embedded in the rock... it looked like some sort of armor, but you couldn't tell at this distance. After a few moments, the snake quickly coiled itself back up and began speaking again.

"Poisssssssson sssssatissssssssfiessssssss... sssssssssssshow ssssssssssome pleasssssssse..."

As it recoiled back into the darkness, you shudder for a bit and decide to turn around. That beast was not to be messed with.
Spoiler for Serket's solution:
My 's' key is not broken, I sswear.

The only key phrase from the chest is that it involves 'Poison' of some sort based on the underlined section in the lower half of the riddle. Given that -a lot- of poisoned based effects only come from relics or items, the Safe was intentionally designed to be nearby to a False God that -also- has a poisonous theme, alongside the 'jellyfish/creature' shape of the map quadrant the player is in when they begin discovering the bottom floor.

There were also THREE solutions, although one of them was based on the class of the person reading the riddle: 1) carry a poison-based relic or item (this includes Rattlesnake Dart, Nematocyst Whip, or Neurotoxic Spike), 2) be afflicted by any debuff while stepping on the Safe (including poisons), or 3) be a Cultist class [carrying "Poison Spray"].

The riddle was never sent out because I realized that Submachine satisfied one of the conditions before opening the Safe to begin with anyway (carrying Rattlesnake Dart).

Tips and General Info:
-Sera, Submachine, and DoubleCapitals have each received one relic!
-DoubleCapitals and Submachine have now merged to become a team! [They are considered Team Orange]
-A Shrapnel Flower will bloom on Round 32 on Tile I53.
-When using relics that involve line of sight, you may use them from within a tree or wall tile.
-There are 20 rounds remaining. The leading team is Team Blue/Team Orange, each with a total of 11 relics!
-In addition, on Round 40, there may be an 'item reset', where every item location that has been discovered on the map is 'recharged' with a item of random rarity, and Shrines after that point will grant three times as many items (each item randomized).

I'm pretty sure Kuro intended to have a time limit since the beginning, he just forgot to mention it in the rules. We only heard about it 25 rounds in the game.
And we keep driving into the night
It's a late goodbye, such a late goodbye...

Spoiler for Lore:

She whipped her weapon through the nearby trees, waving Ratchet to stay close in case that pesky Librarian came close to her again.

"Come out already! What are you trying to prove?"

But the response to her question was met with a simple scream:

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

Draica sat back as she heard the sounds of a giant boulder come crashing down from a cliff, petting her bobcat. It was thirsty and showing signs of fatigue; perhaps it would have been better if she simply left the island or went to the coast to catch some fish in peace away from all this absurdity.

But then again, given the miraculous and numerous offerings of the altar, it was hard to turn away...

Round 31
The round has ended. Please hold on for the following round to go up...

THE MAIN GRID:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JbIetw-GGrK1G94Rv2-evwYjO4Z9GW0_6S_0iPMRfOk/edit#gid=0

Relics used:
  • Bequeathed Hilt ->> copying Hieroglyph Locket (target relics Astral Ballista/Rabid Centipede, reduce CD by 3 for each)
  • Zodiac Hourglass (targeting skyironsword, reduce all relic CDs by 1)
  • Astral Ballista (Linkcat; cannot use relics this round!)

Items used:
  • Linkcat: Manticore Drill [Wall blockage: refunded!]
  • CleanOnion: Manticore Drill [Wall blockage refunded!]

Spoiler for Eternal Phoenix's chest:
Between the foilage, you encounter some unusual terrain as the typical dirt and sand suddenly becomes gray and black; ash and soot seem to fill this area, but you don't remember there being a volcano in this place. With the heat digging into your face and body, you wipe the sweat off your brow and squint your eyes towards the object in front of you.

Shaped like an egg, the cracks of heat and fiery light from within pulsed in a hypnotizing fashion; it'd be far more fascinating if the warmth was tolerable. The closer you got, the hotter it seemed to get. Touching it (or breaking it) is not a good idea. In the distance, you see a flash of red; a crimson ribbon, completely intact and unaffected by the heat, has a small bit of writing on it...

"The healthier your heart, the hotter my hatred!
Come back when you're weaker; at least half your ego must go.
I won't share my kindness to the arrogantly dangerous."

It's still too hot to touch the darn egg- er... chest. Gah!
Spoiler for Eternal Phoenix's solution:
Not so much a volcano as it is fire magic. I would have reserved the description for Hermes, but given his location, I don't even know if it would be logical (or hell, necessary, since no one will find/access him probably).

Given Eternal Phoenix's (or EP's) relic, the idea was that it would be based off of your HP, and lowering it below a specific percentage; namely, half. The phrase, 'half your ego must go', and 'healthier your heart' both imply 1/2 and HP is involved, and while it's implied that you have to lose half of your total health, the real riddle is to simply lower your HP below 50% instead to open the relic. Whether that damage was dealt by traps, relics, other class actions, or whatever is irrelevant.

I forgot that 'crimson' was a color we could use for text. :P

Tips and General Info:
-worldwideweb3 has received one Safe relic [see above]!
-The Shrapnel Flower on Tile J37 has bloomed and may be picked up - it was previous a blank '.' tile.
-When players use Manticore Drill on a tile where the opposite floor has a Wall, the Manticore Drill fails and is refunded to that player, regardless of whether or not they were successful in entering that tile to begin with. Thus, Mesmers have a slight advantage with the tool, as they can enter Wall tiles freely with a Manticore drill and still retain them; they lose them normally however if they try to entire another non-Wall tile via drilling.

Spoiler for Lore:

Az stumbled on a particularly rude chest, but moved forward. The caves, despite being dark and creepy, didn't phase him one bit - he had been in several cave-ins before, where a collapse almost killed him. But the god of death did not care about such details - he was, after all, serving him well given the circumstances.

But as he flipped over a rock with a particular interesting symbol on it, he couldn't help but feel... watched. As if something (not someone) was disapprovingly gazing upon his robes. Not a spirit or a ghost - he could sense those.

Something far greater was still on this island, hoping to be hatched...

Round 32
The round has ended. Please hold on for the following round to go up...

THE MAIN GRID:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JbIetw-GGrK1G94Rv2-evwYjO4Z9GW0_6S_0iPMRfOk/edit#gid=0

Relics used:
  • Kindling Feathers (targeting worldwideweb3, effect triggers at the -very- end of Round 34)
  • Landcrusher (Tile V7)

Items used:
  • CleanOnion: Manticore Drill [Wall blockage refunded!]
  • worldwideweb3: Cloaking Elixir (lasts until the end of Round 34)
  • Discord: Explosive Concoction (Tile I17 [hits Mache Illusion, receive -1 AP debuff])

Spoiler for Jezebel's chest:
This hallway is littered with puddles and mud; the murky water providing a little bit more light compared to the other hallways due to the minor reflections of light bouncing off the surface of the fluids.

But as you carefully navigate the uneven grounds of this particular area, you are awestruck by the sudden sight of a huge structure; multiple pillars surround a carefully balanced vase placed atop a flat plate. Nothing else looks particularly fishy... no traps nearby at least, and no switches. The vase itself is decorated with the image of various feminine humanoids in delicate poses. You carefully place your hand around the vase's space; nothing happens still. But upon trying to swiftly grab the object, you couldn't even budge it from its spot. It felt like it was glued, attached to the ceramic surface, or weighed down by an impossible amount of gold inside.

A simple note was placed on the edge of the plate - you had to walk around to read the message going in a circle:

"Offer me a vial at any of my altars. Any type works.
So long as you empty its contents there, I will, in return, offer my own body.
It's far more useful than such temporary gifts.''

Further attempts to remove the vase by brute force fail. You even tried striking the vase away only to bounce back and fail...
Spoiler for Jezebel's solution:
The vase isn't that big. dawn to dusk is clearly a midget. :P

There were technically two solutions to this, although one of them was far more creative (to which dawn to dusk figured it out). Given the number of relics (found in Safes) that require an item of some sort to act as a key, I figured that the closest thing to Nymph's Tears were the actual Potions themselves, especially as a couple of them have similar effects in-game (give or take).  As 'vial' refers to the Potions, and 'altars' refer to Shrines, it's clear that you need to be at a Shrine to do the necessary action for the Safe to open.

The solutions were:
-Standing on a Shrine, consume a Potion of any of the 3 kinds; the Safe is not exposed publicly, but will open automatically, and a public announcement will be made.
-Standing on a Shrine, OFFER (type that out or any derivation of that word as an action) a Potion of any of the 3 kinds; the Safe is opened publicly and exposed on that tile, but you will be given a message that you were the one who opened it.

Spoiler for Hecate's chest:
As you balance yourself along the steep incline within the ruins, you begin noticing what appears to be various strands of hair. Thin, long, and nearly transparent if it weren't for the outdoors to provide an angle of light refraction. Going forward, the amount of hair begins to increase, alongside the sudden appearance of thicker wires and black yarn that also appear to be entwined and knotted with each other towards a central point: a chest suspended mid air through these wires and strings.

The chest itself was unremarkable; probably made out of some simple cedar wood. But the amount of string-like objects that cocooned and webbed it was quite a sight to behold. Fascinating, and disturbing as well, given that some of the strands had clearly been stained with blood and shined slightly if you looked at it from a different side. A dangling note from the bottom caught your attention immediately and you (carefully) stepped towards it, trying your best not to have your face or body parts touch any of the hair or strings:

"Your pain opens me."

You shake your head and step around, only to find an electronic display on the other side of the chest, glowing with a few of the wires attached to the back of it:

"JonathanCrazyJ: LT 110
skyironsword: LT 42
???: N/A"

You're unsettled by the sight of the chest nonetheless, but you know you can open it...
Spoiler for Hecate's solution:
I wanted to make it more gorey, but I think I'll leave that to Silent Hill enthusiasts. >_>

The solution, like Eternal Phoenix, also revolves around health, but is a lot less drastic and far more simpler; the 'LT' on digitial scale stands for "less than", while the number recorded to the right of a person's name implies their current HP the moment they examined the Safe. The "???: N/A" section is essentially the computer awaiting for any future players to step on it, thus, giving players a list of who has stepped on the Safe and have yet to go below the required amount and collect the relic.

Thus, simply stand on the Safe again after losing health below the number specified in the message to collect your Doll-Chained Planet.

Tips and General Info:
-dawn to dusk and skyironsword have each received one Safe relic!
-The Shrapnel Flower on Tile I53 has bloomed and may be picked up.
-Discord's pet, "Ratchet" has stepped on a @ tile and died upon taking lethal damage.
-Several tiles have opened in the top right corner of the bottom floor, exposing Items on Tiles S36, U38, and 'A2 (or AA2). They were opened due to the fact that all switches have been pressed in that quadrant, and those switches will cease to work in 3 rounds (or at the start of Round 35).
-The fountain on Tile U8 has been drained due to the pressing of a switch on Tile Y32. An explanation on how/why the switch was drained will come depending on relic collection.
-For those who are wondering: If you ignore the 5 'centered' tiles on the top floor and a lonely Safe in the center on the bottom floor (6 relics there), there are a total of 70-6 = 64 relics spread evenly around the map, with each top floor quadrant containing 12 relics (approx.) and each bottom floor quadrant containing 4 relics (exact), for 48 + 16 = 64 non-visible relics from the very beginning.
-Serket's and Paradox's riddles on Round 30 have now been revealed!

Spoiler for Lore:

Vexthar stared up in silence as the sound of an impossibly large cannon went off, hearing a silence so sharp, his heart had to re-calibrate its rhythm. The cavern walls dulled out the noise and echoes, eventually causing the explosive ruckus to fade into ambience, and the sound of his own breathing. She was... his comrade...

Sithraak, with a slight smile, felt the the ashes of his target fall to the ground... the pages that once were, had fluttered in embers and dust. But his eyes took a tone that was heavier if you watched carefully - for as his attack landed, he felt his somewhat naive traveling companion had been killed just the same way as he took another life. Perhaps this could be fixed, but still...

And JonathanCrazyJ had done it. Not exactly the most cleanest of kills, but given that Sol wasn't responding with radio calls anymore, and that he had to create a pretty sketchy (yet durable) club to make up for it, it was still done out of survival. All it took was one attack, and thankfully, that girl didn't have to feel anything. This would be something to remove from the logs, although the story he'd have to spin upon reaching back to his homeland...

Round 33
The round has ended. Please hold on for the following round to go up...

THE MAIN GRID:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JbIetw-GGrK1G94Rv2-evwYjO4Z9GW0_6S_0iPMRfOk/edit#gid=0

Relics used:
  • Excalibur (targeting North) [killed worldwideweb3, damages Discord for 35 damage.]
  • Honeycomb Shield (+10 Shield for JonathanCrazyJ)

Items used:
  • CleanOnion: Reckoning Cannon (Facing East of Tile N10 - deals 40 damage to skyironsword [kills skyironsword])
  • JonathanCrazyJ: Flammatory Spices [sacrifice material for Hammer Time]

Tips and General Info:
-worldwideweb3, Sera, and skyironsword have died. DoubleCapitals, JonathanCrazyJ, and CleanOnion have each dealt the respective killing blow to each player.
-JonathanCrazyJ has claimed 9 items and 8 relics from Sera's corpse.
-The Shrapnel Flower on Tile I53 has been picked back up by dawn to dusk.
-Both of the Librarian Cranes have now dissipated.
-Explanations for all deaths are now below:
  • skyironsword: After entering her current tile, she was hit by a Reckoning Cannon for 40 damage from CleanOnion. 32 - 40 = -8 HP remaining. She was killed.
  • worldwideweb3: Despite entering the northern tile of G14 while being invisible, DoubleCapitals had successfully hit him with the final row of Excalibur [an AOE cone attack, similar to the Mage's skill, Chaos Breath], dealing 35 damage to him. 8 - 35 = -27 HP remaining. He was killed there.
  • Sera: After moving East once, Sera proceeded to use Guard THEN Consecrate. JonthanCrazyJ moved into the same tile as her on the first turn, used Honeycomb Shield on the second, and then critically hit her with Hammer Time on the same tile. Sera healed 15 HP from both Consecrate and the Guard passive, bringing her up to 90 HP. However, Hammer Time deals a base 40 damage, +25 damage from being affected via Rage Powder, and +(5*X) damage [where X is the # of items JCJ had]. JCJ had 9 items (after sacrificing a Flammatory Herbs) upon using Hammer Time. 40 + 25 + 45 = 110 damage dealt to Sera. 90 - 110 = -20 HP remaining, and Sera was killed on the same tile as JCJ, leaving him to loot her corpse immediately.
    • For an added bonus, JCJ's move did destroy a wall adjacent to the trap.

JUSTICE HAS BEEN SERVED!
on CO and www for RS1 Heavenly Fan, for RS2 Anarchy/Portal Gun and for Mafia 62.

If Kindling Feathers and Bequeathed Hilt are used during the same turn on the same player, will they receive 100% of their HP as damage in 3 turns?

Or better, what if it's just cooled down with a Jolt Potion and it's used on the same player twice in a turn?

edit: Just noticed, but when did JCJ find a Soul Shard? Was it recently or was I just careless about his item count? ^^"

a few turns ago, can't remember when.

and  "Target a player within a radius of 4; they take 50% of their max HP in damage in 3 rounds. If they specifically die from this effect, revive with full HP."
so they will probably recieve 100% of hp in damage, but be revived to 100% hp.
