The difference between range and radius, while intuitive, is something I wouldn't even have considered. Thank you for explaining this

He says this was also a thing in RS2.

It was not. We only had radius.

He says this was also a thing in RS2.

It was not. We only had radius.

That's what I was referring to. You had the new definition of what was considered to be a "radius", not the 'within X tiles' range definition.

Spoiler for Lore (skyironsword):

Exhausted. Frustrated. Annoyed.

This was a stupid idea. What enticed her to begin with? She started to remember, but instead curled her mouth in disgust at the sight of a crushed beetle underneath her palm. It was supposed to be a rock. Whatever. At least her relic managed to activate and cause someone to scream in agony somewhere down the halls.

Hopefully it wasn't Vexthar.

Blinking a few times, her eyes had adjusted well to the darkness after staying down here for so long. The sun was starting to rise, based on the light coming from the small openings (and the major exits).

...but she was too tired. Screw it. Let them battle on.

Round 24
The round has ended. Please hold on for the following round to go up...

THE MAIN GRID:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JbIetw-GGrK1G94Rv2-evwYjO4Z9GW0_6S_0iPMRfOk/edit#gid=0

Relics used:
  • Honeycomb Shield (+10 damage absorption)
  • Reaper's Quill (Tile T17, T18, T19, T20: -40 EN)
  • Neurotoxic Spike (On Linkcat [takes 3*2 damage from actions])
  • Excalibur (Facing West on T17)

Items used:
  • worldwideweb3 (Titan Treecutter E20, not refunded)
  • JonathanCrazyJ (Rage Powder: +25 bonus dmg on next attack)
  • JonathanCrazyJ (Mana Herbs: +25 EN)
  • Submachine (Hardened Coconut on Linkcat; out of range, refunded!)

Tips and General Info:
-worldwideweb3 have also found a relic under a tree.
-If an item, relic, or class action that grants a status effect doesn't specify how long it lasts, always assume it lasts indefinitely.
-Linkcat has received 6 damage from the poison effect from Neurotoxic Spike because of one main thing; because movement takes precedence over defensive (and thus, relic) usage, his first action goes before the application of poison. His later two movement actions then cause him to take 3 damage each.
-Players do not suffer trap damage if the trap was placed underneath them without them moving from it until the end of the round. In other words, as long as a player moves away from a trap before their end of actions, they don't take damage. If they move into a newly created trap, they also take damage. This applies to effects such as Animal Trap, Insanity Snare, and Reaper's Quill.
-No mid game changes will occur based on the polling, thanks again folks!

Round 25 (Midpoint!)
The round has ended. Please hold on for the following round to go up...

THE MAIN GRID:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JbIetw-GGrK1G94Rv2-evwYjO4Z9GW0_6S_0iPMRfOk/edit#gid=0

Relics used:
  • Cinderaxe (Tile G18)
  • Lyre of Seraphim (-39 EN from JonathanCrazyJ to heal JonathanCrazyJ for +39 HP)

Items used:
  • N/A

Tips and General Info:
-DoubleCapitals has changed from a Blacksmith class into a Mesmer.
-Round 23 has been updated with the solutions for Seism's and Lionheart's chests!
-1101686 has picked up the Shrapnel Flower that bloomed on Tile K44. Demagog has taken 20 damage from running into 'lolusuck', worldwideweb3's crane.
-There are exactly 2 relics AND 2 Safes in each quadrant of the bottom map. If you manage to spot all 4, it means there's no more relics to be found in that area specifically.
-BONUS: At least three players are adjacent to a Safe or relic at this point in the game.  :o
-Would you guys like me to extend this round by 12 hours due to me not updating on time? ^^;;; It appears I'm falling asleep nowadays before midnight, which means it would make more sense if I update at noon for my time...

Spoiler for Lore:
"DIE SCUM!"

Lodin quickly launched his toy of destruction towards the opening of the cave; seconds later, three distinct noises could be heard. One was the sound of something clicking in a distinct manner, the second was created by collisions of metal fragments ricocheting off any surface alongside a roaring flame, and the tumbling rocks that broke chaotically from the previous explosion. The light of dawn became more clear as the surface opening widened. Their target had escaped, but Lodin was simply shrugged. Az, however, was not happy about the development - his stare turned to a slight scowl of disdain at his partner.

"...what? We missed. You said he can move fas-"

"I said he was quick for a being of his kind. He is not omnipotent. You did not need to shout.

"Oh come on! He was nowhere close to our location? I yelled when the flower LANDED."Lodin placed his hands up as a partial surrender to Az's coldness, but wasn't fond of the accusation. Nothing he could have done.

Az shook his head slightly.
"The god of death has no need for extravagance. We already had our share earlier from the knight. An alien is not as easy to predict. Do not goad the next time.

Lodin shrugged and took a swig out of his little vial of melon dew that he was finishing ever since they woke up hours earlier. Time to get back to work.

Round 26
The round has ended. Please hold on for the following round to go up...

THE MAIN GRID:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JbIetw-GGrK1G94Rv2-evwYjO4Z9GW0_6S_0iPMRfOk/edit#gid=0

Relics used:
  • Pandemo's Coin (Set AP to 1 penalty for +50% HP (+37.5 or +38 HP rounded up, Demagog)
  • Unicorn Hooves (on Demagog, removes AP penalty)

Items used:
  • skyironsword: Vita Herbs (+12 HP)
  • worldwideweb3: Mana Berries (+4 Pages)
  • CleanOnion: Cloud Essence (+1 Speed, can only move N/S/E/W this round!)
  • Demagog: Explosive Concoction (Tile G37, deals 30 damage to Pylon G37)
  • 1011686: Shrapnel Flower (Tile G37, deals 30 damage to Pylon G37/I37, both destroyed [will reappear on Round 28])

Tips and General Info:
-Linkcat has picked up a relic!
-Remember: Movement actions come before Defensive actions (items and relics count as defensive actions).
-The poison from Neurotoxic Spike on Linkcat has been removed due to him stepping on an 'O' tile. The AP penalty applied from Pandemo's coin towards Demagog has been removed by his teammate 1011686 via Unicorn Hooves.
-Players are encouraged to get others to sign up for the game still, especially if you are alone and/or need a teammate!

It's allowed, but remember that players only take damage by entering a trap tile or by remaining in one; summoning a trap underneath a player doesn't count as damage.

It's important that the current wording of Terraformer Seeds cannot affect tiles that are not mentioned in its list; for example, cave/pitfall entrances and exits, Tree tiles, wall tiles, and '?' tiles are immune to any changes performed by Terraformer Seeds, unless they are destroyed beforehand.

It could be changed to not affect 'X' tiles, but this allows players to remove 'X' tiles for more cumbersome areas instead (i.e. - see the map for details).

Could the user select a 3x3 that does not consist purely of those tiles? For example, a 3x3 area of empty "." tiles but a wall "#" in the top right? Or can only valid 3x3 areas be selected?

Say I were to take some Terraformer Seeds and put a whole bunch of X traps under a player, is that allowed? It seems a little unbalanced
It is currently being discussed how it should be changed.

The current downsides are:
  • Walls, Trees, Switches, Chests, Entrances/Exits and uncollected item/relic tiles would be immune to the effect, giving safe pathways when the effect is expected.
  • During the turn when it is cast, it already cannot damage the player in the target area, so it has to be placed at least 2 movements ahead of target player.
  • Compared to Anarchy, the stuff disappears after first use. And you didn't complain about that, Clean, if I recall correctly.
  • To kill, you have to use it close to yourself, otherwise other players will pick up the belongings of the target.
  • And of course, if it misses, it's gone.

The positives are:
  • Infinite Range on both levels of the map.
  • Potential 1 item = 1 kill trade.

The "wording restriction" nerf kills the item (the nerf which says it cannot affect an area that has even one off-tile), because then only a quarter of the above map could be affected - a part which is already explored. So to appease the crowd, I'm thinking about a way to nerf it that's still on par with Reckoning Cannon, and is not overly strong.
