@bigbadbanana: Your empathetic link, I'm afraid, can in fact be broken, since it is not even supposed to be permanent, but since it seems that you two get along well, I'll let the strong permanent bond pass for now. (also, OOTS #747 was hilarious. I'm going to sit on this spin until this room stops chairing) Also, you are definately ranger. If you really want to be a druid, you'll have to rework your entire description and bio.

OK then. Ranger it is. At least I get a buddy now.

You sound like Dora. XD I can relate the most to V, ambiguity aside. To me, I think his ambiguous gender is just a joke/running gag, so I don't worry about it anymore. I'll give you your InC in my next post.

Faldaunia's mother's screams continue to haunt her in her dreams, but she had to press on. She arrived at Atlantis via ferry with her rustler companion, travelling through the Kingdom of Light all the way here. She was currently looking at a map of Atlantis, but she wasn't sure where she had to go.

Suddenly, her companion burst into her head - We might find some friends at the Greenhouse.

"Ev'rything's intersting around here, man." Lakana accepted the duck with great pleasure, and proceeded to mutate it into a Cockatrice-looking...thing...with flaming arms. She set down the mutated Cockatrice on the floor, and it hopped around at her feet. "You looking for anything?"

"I am Nordal," he answered, laying his staff on the ground and sliding out his Katanas, "and I am...proficient, to say the least with these. Also, if given time to prepare my bow, I can hit nearly any moving target within a few hundred." Replacing his Katanas, Nordal continued, "I would, however, like to know what we think we can gain by breaking into these ruins. I hate this plague as much as anyone, but running around waving our weapons without a specific goal in mind is as likely to cause more problems than it solves." Despite a few boos from the crowd, Nordal waited to see if the leader would answer him.

Last IC post of the day. I need my beauty sleep. (it's taking a toll on my writing, too) IC to killsdazombies. IC:

The vampires. Evil, little critters with the tendency to burn straight through your heart. Everything dear to Isac? All gone, except that he now had the chance to avenge his family's death - perhaps right here in Atlantis, or perhaps somewhere else. Either way, he had a missions right now, and he had to perform it diligently.

Isac now sat a bench across from the Atlaentici Church of Lumi, takign a rest. There was a statue of the Archangel Lumi ontop of the large church, looking at him as if taunting him to enter. He probably should, too, after he's finished with his break.

((Yes, I spell magick when I'm playing RPGs with a k. You need to read more if you don't get a least some of those references. @Korugar Dang, he must be a master with that bow. The common range for a present day archer with a high-tech compound bow with sights would be about 180 feet.))

He recalled his previous meetings with the Elder Light Mage Suriel and his orders.

"The Cathedral of the Archangel Lumi is a towering edifice positioned on your left when you exit the port."

"Wonderful! Should be hard to miss, Elder Suriel!"

Suriel had appeared saddened.

"Why this sarcastic attitude? One such as you should be pleased and proud to represent our kingdom and to lead its investigation."

"You know what I believe, Master."

"Ah yes, the Darkness folk. They must be responsible for everything, mustn't they?"

"Send one of the Novices, not an Adept like me. I should remain here, the son of Elderian, no less, to protect the kingdom. What if the entire event has been orchestrated by their Black Magic from the beginning?"

"And yet, what if it isn't? Son of Elderian, you must overcome your bias against Darkness..."



In any event, there it was; the ornate building of devotion with the Archangel Lumi on top. The figure of Heaven smiled at him benevolently, as if gracing him and his mission.
