How about me? What sort of limitations do I have as a Wizard? And what is my starting equipment? Also may I change my element? And last of all what would Nymph's tears do In this RPG?

@harry: Staffs are fine, but they mainly only augment your magical prowess. For more information on spells, see below...

@3$man: Whoops, sorry, I deleted my answer to your spells question (the answer would be that you start with stuff like freeze, but then spells get more complicated. You will have a semi-limited amount of spells: you won't have to prepare them like in D&D, but they will take a drain on your energy - when you're tired, you can't cast any more spells). You will suck at melee as a Wizard, but you have familiars AND you will have a squad of creatures that your kingdom will give you to protect you. Starting equipment will be up to you - some type of robes and a staff. If you want to change your element now, then sure. It'd be a drastic measure to change it after the game starts, though. (treason much?) Nymph's tears will be one of the more complicated spells you'll get as a more experienced water Wizard - it will probably just summon a nymph, with some restrictions.

No, you get "body guards" (which are simply a squadron of creatures your Kingdom will give you to help you), too. :P The only advantage they have over you in that respect would be a familiar. I mean, without said "body guards," paladins would be nigh useless, as they won't have anyone to command.

He was going to be a druid, not paladin, unless you meant everyone get's bodyguards.

Yeah, everyone gets them. And again, they are just a squadron of creatures - similar to the creatures you summon in the actual game. Also, I meant elemental every time I said human. Purity, can you change every single time I said human in the OP to elemental?

@harry: However many your kingdom feels you deserve. And stop calling them bodyguards - start calling them your squad. :P

@3$man: Shards are going to be like artifacts in this RPG. You might get, say, an SoG from a reward for beating a dragon.

All right. What if I just have some sort of natural attracting thing where the animals(that aren't trained otherwise, like the other character's squad) in my area follow me and keep me guarded(I am a ranger, it might work). It would function the same, it's just that my character's backstory wasn't going to have him as important enough for his Kingdom to give him stuff. If not, I can always modify it, just wondering.

Your kingdom gives you a squad that has creatures that are of your element that will stick to you until you or they die. The creatures you summon can be of different elements and will only be temporarily attracted.
