DEATH WAS EVERYWHERE.

Well. Almost. Hella people died. Specifically, Vineroz (who got double Vacuumed; Resurrect may have saved him, but spending != detroying), Coffeeditto (got shocked), Ginyu (who exploded due to a combination of inactivity, Clean0nion's generosity, and his haunted/sprout status), and mathman101 (shriveled up via Evaporate).

ROUND 7

Quanta has been recalculated.


Coffeeditto, Ginyu, mathman101, and Vineroz have died. Lots of death (and from different effects as well...).

Protip: Curse has been removed, but Evaporate is still in effect. With only 8 players remaining, sometimes the best defense is simply good defense.

"DON'T YOU DIE ON ME YET DAWN-"

Despite the oncoming storm and barrage of bolts being flung against him, dawn to dusk managed to survive a tempest of collateral and direct damage towards his person; the players were ganging up on each other in odd ways, and his attempts to merely prolong his existence was endowed further by two players who were manipulating his own energy to keep him alive. The electricity cackled and faded, and the brewing storm soon revealed a calm sky once more, but the battle was still fearsome as ever.

In the other corner of the arena, ghosts were swirling around the other half of the players, but the majority of them knew how to use them as a strength. They provided a shield in a sense; no matter who the enemies targeted, the ghosts would nonetheless replenish their energy with the spirits of the dead, and as such, they tried their best to afflict decay and horrors against those that came near.

The battle only had 8 players remaining, and it was only the 8th minute of this crazy brawl.

No death has occurred!

Protip: Evaporate has subtracted TWO (2) from the top pools. Note that this round has been reduced by several hours due to the reduced number of participants still playing. Send your moves as soon as you can!

As the mists cleared, the body of Clean0nion was found bloated with the sounds of ghosts filling him, and a small virus managed to slowly decay his lungs. Exposed to the elements, his corpse was a minor display as the battle carried on, with multiple participants still trying to survive the chaos.

SIDE NOTE: This is the first time all names in the sheet have distinct starting elemental colors.

Protip: Using multiple minor/major actions on a single target is better for taking them down, but spreading out your actions on multiple targets can oftentimes disrupt alliance strategies.

If you Levitate, can you illuminate your target for any amount of quanta?
Does hide protect from effects such as Submerge? It only refers to the effects, so I expect the next 3 actions always go through but the person may still be killed/mutilated thanks to various elemental actions?

Levitate: ...no, because Illuminate's 'gift' effect would be canceled, since you couldn't 'destroy' your quanta in order to give it to someone else.
Hide protects from practically every Elemental Action not above it, but status effects (Haunting, Withering, Sprout bonuses, etc.) and Ultimates can bypass the Hide and the player can be killed by -those- effects instead. In other words, a Hidden player will block Submerge completely, unless the player -using- Submerge has something like 'Adapt' up.

As Zawadx soared into the air, the quantum currents began to rise as well. Every player could feel their actions having no destructive effect on their opponents, and as the last remaining acolytes bounced off the walls and floor, so their quanta nearly peaked at the sudden acclimation of their temporary status.

Many of them felt somewhat full or bloated even, as if they had eaten too many meatballs after a fine spaghetti meal...
