Okay, Memorize is a bit tricky, but let me explain it:

When ddevans96 used Memorize on Day 4, the moment he used it, all of his quanta pools were saved.
On Day 5 action 3 (exactly four actions later), after using Inspiration (the implementation of his action that turn), Memorize's status effect triggered, and his quanta was reverted to the exact amounts of Day 4 action 3.

If you use 'Memorize' on the same turn you're due for a Memorize, you basically save your current quanta pool totals, but right after, you revert to the Memorized totals of the previous Memorize:

Memorize 'A' used on Day A action 1. Quanta saved to Memorize 'A'. Other actions processed.
Day 'B', you use Memorize 'B' on action 1. Quanta is saved to Memorize 'B'. Your quanta is then reverted to Memorize 'A'. Your other actions processed.
