Can we have "conditional" actions? As in, do action A if i have enough quanta, otherwise do action B.
No - do not do this, or else
all of your actions will be invalid. Send in one set of moves, and stick with it; the thing about this game is that you do not know who will target who with what action, so you cannot give out a 'multiple scenario' swiss knife of movesets to counter everything!
If just one of the players being targeted by swap or funnel uses block, what happens to the other player?
Also, how did Cleanonion die? Since he used ignite first, shouldn't he have as his highest pool when blizzard came around, not everything else?
And since i lost 10 due to blizzard, shouldn't Puff have gained 10 ?
For Swap or Funnel, the action fails.
CleanOnion died because:
-After using Ignite, he gained 5
, so 1 + 5 = 6
quanta
-He gained 2
from d2d's Ferocity via Harvesting, so 6 + 2 = 8
quanta
-ALL spending always occurs before implementation. So he spent 7
quanta on Evolve, the implementation of Evolve was not processed yet, so 8 - 7 = 1
-Implementation phase occured, Blizzard takes high priority, he dies due to the highest pool(s) being 2 quanta each.
No, he doesn't gain
, because again, precedence of implementation is different from precedence of spending. You spent quanta on Scale, that's fine, but the implementation of it was processed AT THE VERY END (See the OP: Scale is the last 'debuff' to be applied for this very reason). Blizzard occurred before your Scale was applied.
