When you quote them, delete everything except the board. Then make your move, put the round number and who moves next above it, and then say whatever you want at the bottom of your post.

Actually you didn't even make a move... the earth symbol is the tail, it only moves when the fire symbol moves, but since the round number is greater than the tail length, the earth symbol can't move right now. If you want to move the fire symbol right now, you can only move it up, and change the current fire symbol to an entropy symbol.

Oh ok Mafi, didn't realize that's what happened...

Actually Mafi, if no one moves it and that stalemate happens, it can be fixed.

Terro, unless I misunderstand you, I think you are forgetting that when you jump someone you get to move again...

Patrick, you have to quote the post of the last move that was made, then edit the board in the reply box. And make sure you preview your post before posting... it's easy to make a mistake (I made one on this move before the preview)... you also need to remember to use the proper formatting, which is just saying the round number and who moves after you above the board.

Lol it's still wrong... You didn't move anything this time... you also need to add a space or two before the fire symbol to line it up right. And remember to get rid of everything other than the board itself.

Ya Patrick, you can play... which color would you like? It really doesn't matter, we all seem to be equally active in this, so I don't think we need you for any specific color... so your choice.

Actually Terro, I can think of two ways in which there would be a stalemate that I'm not sure there are any ways out of...

One is if the red dot is in a corner and there are 3 people around it, one being two spaces left/right (depending on the corner), one being two spaces down/up, and one being right next to it on the diagonal (so one space left/right and one space down/up). I've considered several move combinations and I can't think of any way someone could either make a move resulting in them winning, or make a move ensuring no one else can win.

Another is if the dot is like it is now with only one exit, but two spaces (let's say down) from the edge. If two people are both next to it on the diagonal, and the tail is not at its maximum length, nothing can be done. (the two players in this situation must have started diagonal from each other though... if one's turn is right after the other, the other two players can make it so no one wins that situation)

So there needs to be rules regarding these situations... unless you can think of ways to get out of them.
Those are stalemates. I would say either call them draws or jump the red dot to the middle.

How about after 3 rounds the tail is removed and it goes to the center... that gives enough time for the people in the stalemate to keep anyone not in the stalemate away from the center so they can't cherry pick a win lol...

Patrick, why don't you just tell me where you want to move and I'll do it for you lol...

And in the future if you still can't figure it out, just say the round number, who moves next, and the piece you want to move and in which direction... I'm sure Terro can handle making your move for you, or icy can if he's on...
