OOC: Haha Essence, you saw right where I was going with that. It's kinda neat too, because before you even made your first post, I had planned on writing about the scavenger crabs and a larger one. The only thing, Rupert isn't like Cerberus... he just has one head. I'd say Cerberus is the "head" hell hound, Rupert is just an underling. Also, should I write up the approach to your hiding place? I was going to, but it's going to be pretty short and uneventful... didn't feel like making anything eventful happen on the trip over. I'll just post the next part after your greeting here for now, and if yall think I should go back and type up finding you, I will. Lastly, Glitch said OOC should be done in flavor text, but I have no idea what that is nor how to do it.
Big Bob was taken aback by the presence of what he had at first thought to be another monster looking to bringing his life to an end. But the fact that the creature, that Big Bob thought looked very much like the trolls he remembered seeing in children's storybooks, could speak perfect English left him speechless.
"What say you?" finished the creature.
Bob's mouth must have been on auto-pilot; before he had even made an attempt to consider Angus's offer, he had already replied, "That sounds like a damn good idea to me." At this point, Big Bob's mind caught up to his mouth. "The name's Bob. Big Bob actually."
He noticed Rupert was still on-edge, unsure if the figure before them was friend or foe. "Sit, Rupert," he commanded. The hound's hind quarters instantly fell to the ground, producing a slight thud that made Big Bob smile.
"As I was saying," he continued, "joining up with you is the best idea I've heard in awhile. You could probably tell just by looking at me, but being in a hostile environment such as this isn't exactly something I'm used to. I don't plan on being a hindrance to you, though. Not with Rupert around anyway. I assume you are a troll, then?"
