You still haven't answered my question about the Imps' omnipotence. If, at 100% maximum power, Jonathan is unable to defeat the Emperor, then why should I even bother to write a battle that I absolutely cannot win? Don't give me any of the "reward" cr4p, because it makes no sense logically that Jonathan is able to defeat an omnipotent enemy.
Also, what's with all this about "developing as a writer"? I am perfectly competent as a writer to write a situation in which Jennifer, or Jonathan, does not have her/his weapon or powers. However, I do not enjoy writing about that situation. I will be more comfortable with it if I at least know when I'll get the weapon back, but it seemed to me that I will never get it back as long as I don't act exactly the way Purity wants. Of course, even if she becomes permanently unable to use that bow, I would still be able to write about her, and my writing skills are not changed the slightest; however, if that is to happen, then I am no longer writing about the character I originally wanted to write about. There is a reason why I submitted that character profile, because that's the character I wanted to write about; if you want to test my writing skills, why not just throw me a totally random character? This is a competitive game, but it is still a game, so it is supposed to be fun; I will indeed have fun when I write about the character I wanted to write about, and I will not have fun when I'm forced to write about something I did not want to write about. This is not a question about writing skill, because I have written about things I absolutely hated, and I still got good marks. I am able to write uncomfortable situations, but I won't like it.
Bottom line is this, Purity: I will decide when she gets the bow back; that is, when she is first forced to use Angelic form. Otherwise, why did I bother designing that bow when I'll just end up not using it? Cause and effect is my sacred law, and thus I hate the act of waste, a cause that has no effect.
Let's talk about your point in order.
1. Omnipotency doesn't mean what you think it means. While they are not everywhere, they are not constrained to the laws of physics. This story follows the many worlds theory, and unlike normal beings who can only being in one parallel decision based path, imps can move between them freely. You can't defeat the emperor, because in some parallel universe you'll fail, and from there, he'll magically warp back to your universe. But this isn't for not. Just wait and see. Whoever gets there will have a chance to defend themselves.
2. When I say "developing as a writer" I'm politely saying that you're digging yourself a hole here. After being reprimanded for godmodding during the round where you were disarmed, you're having a hissy fit over being disarmed. Seeing the pattern? You better hope your fellow players aren't, or they're going to vote you worst writer.
3. Bottom line is, you
won't decide when you get the bow back. This is a story with 5 authors, and they aren't all going to agree with you. So go ahead and quit. But good luck ever RPing if you never participate in an RP where bad things happen. And if you really don't like writing Jennifer, then don't. You don't have to. She's an NPC. Actually, why not make Purity reap what he sows, and make HIM write her. I wouldn't care. Since he's gone to such great lengths to make sure none of the characters but his own are armed, feed him his own medicine. Why bother designing the bow if you weren't going to use it? Because you had no idea you weren't going to use it. This is a semi-realistic story. The good guy doesn't always win. Sometimes he has to settle for losing less than everyone else. The heroes aren't always super powerful. Sometimes it's the weak who are the strongest.
4. It doesn't matter of Purity did it out of spite, which I think we all know he did. I actually know for a fact he doesn't like your RP style, he PMed me almost that word for word. Won't it be hilarious when karmic justice befalls him?
Bottom line is: leave if you want to. It'll be your loss.
