Again, just eliminating all the highest submission won't work. A game where just sending 1 every round is the winning tactic may hardly be considered a game.

I think the proposal was eliminating the highest submission(s) but keeping the game length at 3 rounds.  With 30 participants you can't win with an end score of 3.  You win by having the 2nd highest score each round, but how high can you safely go?

biggest problem for a game like gamblers is no risk... you have no risk in betting 100 and dropping out... or betting 99.... if you bet 100$ on 99 and your drop out, there is a risk, but without?! well, then i droped out or get many points... what i mean is, i understand what you say, rr... in a game were you have risk, noone would bet more then 1, cause he will droped out.. but in a forum game i guess there are still enough people which bet 90 or 99... cause there will someone bet more... or not.... but then all with beyond making 89 will get their bet counted.
