"I have the results of your most recent scan back, and you're completely cured. You still have an odd number of personalities, but that number is now one. Your brain is exactly as it should be."

"I don't need to keep on with the treatment?"

"No, you can stop right away. You can leave once you've paid the medical bills. That's about $10000 per personality removed, about $5000 per capsule of Even Odder, $4700 for the IV line since you forgot how to eat and $83000 for the doctor's bills. That's me. That money is mine."

"Do you take mark codes?"

The doctor frowned.

"I'll go pay now. Anything else I should know?"

"Nope, absolutely nothing. No side effects, no identity crises, go pay so I can see my next patient. Goodbye, Linkcat."

Linkcat turned his head. "Linkcat? Who's Linkcat? My name is RootRanger."

Root and Demagog were Junkies and rob was a Skeptic.

Fun facts:
I created all of these cool roles that would have made for some interesting gameplay, but it looks like everybody decided to betray everybody else on Round 1, as best as I can tell.
Every player that chose a role chose Junkie, Survivor, Harvester, or Wraith, so nobody chose an information role. All of the players that didn't choose a role were given a random information role.
Every player sent in a target every round, so Survivor never triggered. None of the abilities really got used except for Junkie.
Both Root and Demagog were targeted five times in Round 1, but two players changed off of Root, giving Dema the largest number of targets in the same round.
Demagog was also targeted the most times in total, at 10. Root, Kuro, and rob all came in second at 5 each.
This game probably has the record for the fastest completed forum game that counts for Master of Games.

My story: I first PM'd Root to ally with him. My original plan was to keep my alliance with him. While I waited for him to respond, I found ian in chat, and told him we could ally. I told him that we should target each other, but I never intended to do that. I got answer from Root, and we decided to vote each other too. 

Then I saw UTA asking for alliance in chat and thought: why not? I need a third person to ally to get an odd amount of targets. I PM'd him, and found out he was in alliance with Sera, kirby and Discord too. UTA knew he was gonna be targeted by Kuro, so the rest of set up in a circle with me targeting Discord, and kirby targeting me. I realized that I might just as well betray Root too. I told them I was gonna vote Discord, but I really targeted Sera.

If this had worked I would have taken down 4 players myself. When I died, I assumed someone had betrayed me, and I suspected Root. Apparently it seems that No one betrayed me, but instead Zawadx targeted me seeminlgy randomly. And both Root and Discord was targeted by someone else too, so they survived round 1.

Oh well, it was great fun while it lasted lol.

Yay, so by Dema and Root voting each other in final round I had 0% chance to win that round. >.<

Heh, nice to see this all worked as planned. I do admit that this took quite a lot of luck to win, but I still believe my chances were much higher than average, and here's why.

To survive, you have to be targeted, and pretty much every target is either an alliance target or an elimination target. Alliance targets are fairly self-explanatory: two players target each other so that they both survive, while players without alliances die off. Elimination targets are the opposite; instead of saving, they kill. But an elimination target only works on someone who was already targeted, which means that players who use elimination targets are trying to find someone who they think has an alliance.

The takeaway from this is that in order to survive, you need to either have an alliance, or convince people you have an alliance. Do one or both of these, and your chances of survival are at least 50%. I assume that a lot of people did neither, and when that's the case, your chances of surviving are near zero.

And as for the final round? I told Demagog that if we targeted each other, we would each have a 50% chance of winning. And I told rob that if we both target Demagog, we would each have a 50% chance of winning. I wasn't lying to either of them, assuming that the third target was random. Of course, it wasn't, so I won.

The fun thing is that you would have died if I hadn't betrayed you. Was that planned too?

Root - you got lucky then. I basically ignored any advice or requests from you/Dema and went 50/50 rando at last-minute realizing I had almost forgot to make the deadline.



Also, in Round 2 I just rando-picked Kuro to vote on thinking I would have 0 votes having not had anyone agree to target me. I lived.

3 round forum game is kind of impressive, in a way.

So I saved both Root and rob in the game... Also, I find it interesting that people voted on Kuro in round 2 when Kuro said who he would be voting on. If someone says who they will vote on, there is no reason to vote on them, as they can just get 0 votes and lose. He lost anyway, but the game would have been very different had those 2 votes on Kuro gone elsewhere.

You guys have a real betrayal complex. The best strategy this game was to form a large alliance and only betray later on. The only "betrayal" I made this game was telling UTA in the second round that I'd vote on Discord, when I actually voted on rob. I guess knowing that Root would vote on me in the last round and telling rob to vote on Root with me could be betrayal since rob had no chance of winning even though I told him he'd have a 50% chance...

Also, CleanOnion betrayed everyone in the alliance on round 1 and died anyway haha. I think he was supposed to roll survivor and vote on 1011, but he went junkie without our knowledge and voted on the other 3 people in the alliance.
