Since the game's almost done, I want to suggest these three revisions for next game:
1. The it-transfer is determined by queue. The initial order of the queue is determined by the auction, and when a person is it, they are moved to the back of the queue.
2. Instead of resting, a person chooses to "stomp" or "stride" on their move. Striders get .5 points if they move without collision. If two stompers or two striders collide, they both lost .5 points. But if a stomper hits a strider, the stomper gets 1 point, and the strider loses 1 point.
3. Each person is assigned a minimum bid. On one hand, a person may be forced to make a high bid. On the other, if any ties happen, the person with the lower minimum bid is considered as bidding higher.

Congrars mathman.
Something should be done about the endgame.  Not sure what, but it basically comes down to moving at their spot and hoping they forget to send a message.  Maybe introducing a randomly moving "character" or two.  That could actually start at the beginning of the game, and would help a little with people resting too often, as one of those randoms might bump them.

Good Game russianspy, a nice challenge near the end to keep me thinking. Also good games to everybody else who participated, it was a fun game to play throughout the whole.

That is not the only endgame strategy, but it may be the safest. A riskier one could be to try and cut off the opponent by anticipating where they willl move to, but it could backfire and move them farther away.

As much as I want this game to be the new 'Push', I think a lot of new things need to happen to spice it up. But until then, I'll leave this topic open for a few more weeks in regards to feedback/playtesting...
