"Well, I for one am not certain I'm willing to truly let you join our group, but if you with to come with us until we are somewhere safer for you, I'd be willing for that."
OOC: Sorry if it seems like I'm being difficult, harry, but I'm just trying to be realistic. I don't like it when someone makes something happen, just so they can make something else happen. That being said, it will be a while before we get somewhere we would separate, so if your character is a good companion, there's no reason his, and the other's, opinion wouldn't change.
