Also dont we level up for beating the bear or something like that.
That's really out of character for Salestor. He's supposed to be thoughtful, calm, and old-timey. And he definitely doesn't misspell words like "and"
Well what would he say and ill edit it in.

The princess isn't here.

Since you guys are noobs, some ideas for you.

Preform a search check, and any hidden goodies will be yours.

Preform a listen check, and anyone sneaking up on you might be heard.

Use that map the shopkeep gave you.  Maps are your friends.

Travel to a new town, ask NPCs whats going on.  NPCs are my way of helping you help yourselves.
