With the sand bags in place and the sun high above, the soldiers stand in a line to fight. Suddenly, the Time princess beckons to her troops, they back away from the wall, into the wagon, and race away. Only one soldier with precognition remains. He starts chanting "oh shit, oh shit" quietly under his breath.
Out from the fog walks a lone man, small in the distance. With the roar of a cougar he uses adrenaline, and then becomes stunned, moving again soon after. He repeats the process again and again, until his blood courses brown through his veins and his skin looks like scales of hard clay, cement, and earth. His concrete skin looks neigh impervious. The soldier chanting "oh shit," gets a little faster.
The fog he was walking in drifts over the troops, obscuring their vision.
With a fiery roar, the lone man lights up, becoming a torch in the distance. The once strong body he had gives way to a new extremely powerful one. Repeating the process of strengthening and then weakening himself, he becomes a walking murder man. Then, as he becomes easier to see, he starts turning cyan and transparent, until it looks as though he could dodge any physical attack by simply phasing around it. With a cackle, he lights a match. The soldier shouts "OH SHIT!" loudly one time.
The fog explodes.
Salestor recognizes the explosion from his memory.
The soldier is now frantically screaming "OH SHIT! OH SHIT!"
The battlements are in disarray, those in charge are screaming "HOLD THE LINE!" The troops learn to avoid the fog, but a black hole appears where the fog is, pulling them towards the gas that would clearly mean death. After being hit again, the troops closest to the blast are killed. The man is now grabbing his closest fellow soldier, shaking him by the collar, as though doing so will make his comrades understand what he had seen with his future-sight.
Now at the battlements, but still too far away from any of our characters to fight, the man expertly uses his opponents attacks against him. Any woulds he may have taken he immediately loses through the use of a strange white glow. And with a scoff at our heros, just now within fighting range, he bites a foe of his, turning it into a zombie with malignant cells foaming at the mouth. This strange lycanthrope, who had turned into a bear, is now a walking undead plague.
The strange man steps over the sand bags unopposed. He uses adrenaline on the zombie bear, and it make quick work of the troops that hadn't deserted yet. Attacking the strongest troops first, it kills them before they can become an infection. The last soldier it kills is still hysterically calling "oh shit" to his dead comrades.
Only seven remain, the seven weakest there, and they have a zombie adrenalinized bear to deal with.
