*Swift takes a seat at the bar so he has a good angle to watch people as they enter and exit the shopat the shop and waits for the bar keep to come over*

"What can I get you son?" he asks.

"A room for the night and a hot meal .....for now..."

[Glitch]

"Sure thing.  A room'll be 35 electrum, meal's free with the room."

[Korugar]

Just as he left the shop, Korugar noticed another person going down to the basement. Deciding to investigate before heading to the woods, he entered the basement. A fight was about to start in the center of the room, and people looked to be preparing off to one side.

Korugar approached a man who looked to be somewhat in charge. "There pay for winning?"

Salestor walked around the room talking to people. When Korugar came in, he said. "How are you, good sir? Are you here to bet on the match?"

I really don't know why I'm having him talk like a Old-timey British person. Ah well, I guess that can be part of his personality too.

With his room for the night secure he awaits for the last person to leave the shop while he enjoys the meal.

"Uhhh... hey man, I'm just crowd control.  The man in charge of fighting is over there."

As you approach him, you see he has a dagger in his mouth, and he's grinning.

"It's 5% cut of the betting for losing, and 15% for wining."

He gives you a quick shove, the speed of it surprises you, the ferocity of it knocks you back.

"Ha!  Rookie.  I'll get youse in a beginner fight if youse up for it.  OH!  I almost forgot.  1500 electrum to the man who usurps the boulder, but he's a high level elemental, trust me kid.  Youse can't take him."

(cue ddevans stuff)

Excellent. I'm tempted to just throw my hammer at the guy, but that would be cliche

Salestor ran over, brandishing his hammer. "That was uncalled for! You don't attack a man who is willing to bet money on a fight!" He turned his head to Korugar. "Tell me, good sir, are you okay?"

[Glitch]

"Woa woa," he says, calming down people who notice, "it ain't nothing.  Ise just seeing how strong he is, put 'im in the right fight.  Youse look just as week as 'im, with that basic hammer, and I coul' take both o' you at the same time.  By the way, youse holdin' that 'ammer wrong."

[Korugar]

OOC: I missed a post, so I'm going to edit.

InC: "Thanks for the concern, but I'm fine." Frowning at the man he said, "There's more to me than meets the eye. I'm in. How long until I fight?"

"Soon enough. Heh, soon enough!" The man grinned at Korugar.

"In case you haven't noticed, the way I have this hammer positioned means the sharpest point is facing towards your neck. If I were to move my arm forward a few inches, you would have a very large wound on your neck. You see this point next to it? If I rotated the hammer so that point faced down towards your chest, half your ribs would be smashed and your lungs crushed." He took out his sword."

"Tell you what. I'll go into a fight against someone and see how well I do."

[Glitch]

"Heh, dolt" said the man, "youse do realize, hammers hit people with the flat end, right?  Either way, I'll put youse in a rookie fight, if it's not too easy for youse, slick."

Gl1tch, did you just completely ignore my InC post? I woke the old shopkeeper guy and asked if I could buy the Darkness dagger. Or if he has anything better.

Jonathan walked into the shop. There was a blue-skinned, brown-haired creature examining some equipments, but he didn't interest Jonathan. What caught his eyes instead were the twelve daggers on display, each one having an elemental gemstone on its pommel.

Hm, that black one seemed nice, Jonathan thought. The onyx on the dagger's hilt gleamed darkly under the candle light. He would purchase it if it was not too expensive.

Jonathan eyed the snoozing shopkeeper. With a frown of irritation, Jonathan walked forward and tapped the old man on the shoulder. "Hey, are those for sale?"
