You run off to shop, i start a conversation with the shopkeep....we have one round of talking and your done shopping and back already.  No i don't think so....try to be a little realistic with timelines.  It will take you more time to shop than it takes for two people to say two sentences.

Inc: "Well, i guess the best place for information is the tavern.  Unless somebody else has a better idea."

"No, you're probably right." The party makes their way to the tavern and enters. Korugar looks for someone who looks like they'd be drunk enough to answer questions, but not so drunk they wouldn't be coherent.
