This should have happened just before he started stealing shit, but right after his search check was finished. Hell, it should have happened right after he told me what happened.

Salestor frowned. "I refuse to steal anything from his store. If you wish to, I won't stop you, but I'll look down on you for a good while"

"I'm sorry but I must if I wish to do anything helpful to the group, Here, if it makes you look less down on me I'll leave 50 E. for the shopkeeper. That should be more then enough for the almost worthless things I took."

B)  The doll is gone, the only thing in back are bows.  The shopkeep didn't seem to have plans of returning.

No, no you cannot.  For starters, thrice has you pinned.  Secondly, any bows in boxes will be locked up unless the shop is disarmed.

Thrice growls, pressing the point of the Senbon deeper against his flesh without actually breaking it. "I don't have anything against stealing, my problem is with you getting caught you idiot. If stuff goes missing, you're going to be the primary suspect. I suggest you drop those bows, now, and leave quietly. I'll wait for the keeper to get back and buy you one myself.

"Fine whatever you want you say." Putting the stuff back, and taking his money. He walked out of the store, into the forest, got out the map he kept, and began making animal traps around a small pit.

Thrice shakes his head, sliding the Senbon back home in its case. "Amateurs, they never learn." Thrice picks up the best, unlocked bow, and heads out of the shop, leaving no gold behind as he pulls Salestor along with him. "So, where to?"

"Anywhere away from anyplace Aira can get in trouble," he said, with a small smile. "Although, the best route would be to go back to base and find the others."

Sappara seeks out Havelock and brings him to the bow shop. When he gets there he says,"Guys, did you know that the elves here are all terrified of the TTL? Do you think we should check it out?

What?  He did what you didn't.  He was smart enough to grab a decent bow that wasn't locked up.

Thrice heaves the bow onto his shoulder, following behind Salestor. As Sappara and Havelock appear, he raises an eyebrow, clearly confused.

After laying the traps Aira walks away, mentally remembering where he put them so he can check them later. He walks towards the rest of the town Climbing the ladder. From the distance he thinks he makes out 4 figures that ook like the entire gang except Swift. he walks up to them.
